- HYPOTHETICAL situation. If you HAD to, which 2 watches would you chose for a forever 2 watch collection? My first take at this is my Datejust and Black Bay. 2 Swiss power-houses in the same family, Iconic designs, almost perfect specifications. What more could you ask for? (Except for a spring drive maybe lol) I had fun making this. Let me know if you want me to release Pt. 2.

That Tudor is so slept on. Both beautiful watches.
I feel the same about the Tudor, but 2 tone is still in limbo (maybe forever) I kinda like that it’s slept on because it makes my collection feel more unique.
Alright, what a channel and production!! I found your channel yesterday and watched all the videos already. I got into watches and photography at the same time last year and your channel hits both of my interest. So excited to see what else is coming from you!!
Love the story too. I myself came to the US as a student and my aunt sent her Skagen watch for crystal service with me at the time which made me thought Skagen is the grown up watch. Saved up probably 2 years to get a Skagen for $100 or so and wore it all my college years. Gifted it to my brother who is in college now and promised a grown-up watch to trade the Skagen back when he graduates. Now, my pinnacle of the collection is BB58 and looking forward to wear it all my life and pass it down one day.
What an amazing story, and thank you for the kind words. The BB58 is a wonderful watch and something with timeless appeal. Congrats on that purchase and addition to your collection. I’ve had multiple Skagen’s thru the years. The last one I owned I lost while on a job out of town. Bummed me out. Photography is amazing. Honestly saved my life. Let’s keep pushing, creating and collecting. Take care and thank you for the sub.
My two-watch collection would consist of a Rolex Pepsi 1675 and a Solid 14K Yellow Gold Men's Longines Watch, both Swiss-made and manual wind-up. While a two-watch collection is great, I am considering expanding to a four-watch collection.
I love it. I don't own a Longines yet, but I plan on it someday soon. Thanks for the comment!
I definitely think I’m on the more non-gold side of things but these are beautiful watches! Great video as usual. You’ll be at 100k soon enough!
lemme review your new Datejust bro
I need me a Tudor like that
Couchlord only rocks the citizens
Such beautiful storytelling as always, my love.
Thank you babes
thanks for sharing, not just about the watches but your life. enjoyed it!
Thank you so much!
My current 2-watch is my '98 Speedy Reduced & '65 Tudor Big Rose. I love the look of S&G but it doesn't work that well with my skin tone (imo).
Wow love these 2 watches. Speedy reduced is amazing at 39mm. I love it so much.
I know you previously mentioned you weren't on the smaller watch kick. I totally am, my Tudor is a 34 and I'm no small dude with my 7.25" wrist 😅
I’m actually coming around to smaller watches after getting the datejust…. I think the small watch thing is growing on me slowly lol
If my paper was out the game it would b a mint tudor 7020 and a mint omega admiralty no bezel pressure tested and serviced of course
I was (and still am) really really tempted to buy a Tudor Date-Day... I love that watch so much.
Thanks for watching!
Yea day date jumbo 38 is also my ish
Straight up movie
my guy. thank you
I have a Datejust 36 and looking for my casual watch I'm considering a 79220, do you feel comfortable with your 41mm tudor? Best regards
I’ve always loved that Black Bay reference. Look, heritage Black Bay’s are big boys. I like date windows and S&G, so my 79733 reference makes sense and worth the trade off in size. Had I gone for a dateless reference, I might have considered a 58… if Tudor drops a S&G BB with a date in the 39mm size… I might consider switching mine out.
All this to say, I still wear my BB, it’s still in heavy rotation, and I still love it. Is it big? Perhaps, but manageable and still a joy to wear every time.
thanks a lot for your honest feedback, yes I hope there will be more 39mm options in the future@@TheFuturisticVintage
Keep me posted with this. Let’s see what Tudor releases in 2024

no way....
Life is about pompous flexes
My whole life up until this point
How about pompom flexes? Watch talk is often but not exclusively about cheering them on.
Rolex is for the silver-haired, powerful corporate CEO
Cartier is for his wife.
Tudor is for her motorbike riding boyfriend.
