The absolute WORST advice for CHRISTIANS.

- There are a thousand disclaimers I could put in this video, but I decided to keep it short & simple speaking directly to the people who clearly are NOT where the Lord wants them but insist on persisting in their own ways, striving against the His will for them. If it doesn't apply to you, maybe share with someone who you think it could apply to? Thanks for being here đ

Absolutely!! Just earlier, I had to make a decision to remove myself from a situation because I am clearly not where I'm meant to be because I am holding myself back.
Thankful you had the insight to see that & actually move forward!
Thank you for this! I always felt the same way when people said this phrase to me but didn't want to knock down their "positive advice"
Yeah I know I was not where I needed to be a few years ago and we should always be growing! I don't like that advice either! I am glad you gathered what you did from it too! Stagnancy is bad.
Amen!
Glad someone finally said it!
I think when ppl say this they mean that even your bad situations have a purpose and that God uses everything for our good. At least thatâs how Iâve understood that phrase. I donât think ppl mean to say it in a âjust stay in this disobedient or unfruitful place because itâs âšexactly where you need to beâšâ but rather in like âGod knew youâd be in this place at this time and Heâs working with you to 1. Bloom where you are planted 2. Learn from where youâre at to help you move into what God has in store for youâ
Yes, that's usually the case, but without that context some people will take it the wrong way because it tickles their ears when what they truly need is conviction.
I agree! I think I mean this more for the people who arenât genuinely taking inventory of their lives and truly assessing why they may be in the turmoil they are in (which usually points back to sin). Thereâs definitely a difference between being in a growth phase where God is using the bad for your good vs. using the bad to get your attention to lead to repentance
@@NanaHoneyB ah I see what you mean! That is very true especially since itâs a common phrase used by non-Christians as well
@@EarthyAly ah so like for some people itâs an excuse to avoid having to confront the reality of where theyâre at? That makes total sense , thank you for clarifying & replying đ€đ€
Thank you for sharing this. It resonated. â€God bless and congratulations on your marriage and growing family!
Thanks so much đ
I'm a Muslim and I definitely hear that too!! You can't be doing bad n still think, "you're where you are meant to be" coz you're not!!
I dont think it's face value advice it's a little bit deeper like if you didn't experience that bad place where you are (that sick and tired of being sick and tiredplace) to get you where you need to be. And the lessons from thT place carry you gracefully into the next like she spoke on her disobedience to a life of obedience doe exampleâ€
You need to be IN CHRIST.
The way this was for me⊠ughhhhhhh. Iâm heartbreakon beyond my own understanding but not feeling convicted anymore for being with my ex is still better but when I get in my feelings I really do. Itâs so hard itâs so hard to be obedient but thank YYOUUUU thank you!!!
Its hard to be obedient but honestly even harder to be in that "stuck" season. It's painful to obey in the moment but GIRL the joy comes in the morning!
Thank you for sharing this
thanks for watching đ
The title of your video is false if they're really Christians and why God ProHibits women from publicly speaking on spiritual matters.
Iâm thinking maybe my channel isnât the place for you lol
Where does scripture ever say women cannot speak on spiritual matters? Clearly you do not understand scripture. In a congregational setting, I would agree that women should not teach or have authority over a man. But women can't speak on any spiritual matters anywhere? Laughable.
