I'm trying to create a horizontal bar chart from vertical data. I want the bar chart to sit next to the data (without any labels, axis, lines etc - just bars and data), but the data on the bar chart isn't reflecting the data its sitting next to, its picking up the data from the bottom of the vertical data list first. Any idea how I can flip it so data and bar match?
There should have been simple option in header/footer, like "start page number from" from a specific page.

Hi there, I am a senior and have got to produce a chart for the Government. I need to be able to put in an amount per/mth then in the next column have to take 48.9% and then give the total amount remaining in the next column. I didnt have Excel in school so do you have a video of something like this .? or I am dreaming and have to get an accountant?
🎉🎉🎉thank you There is a problem. If you have a request that contains large numbers, the diagram will become confusing and not clear. What should I do if I have large numbers? 😢I have three columns 😢
A few options:
- You can use a simple formula to divide the number by a thousand or a million, and then apply the number format you want.
- You can use the custom number format option to display the number with comma separators or with K for thousands or M for millions. This will not change the actual value of the cell, only how it is displayed.

What to do without pressing Alt+F1?
Hi Kevin. Good video. When I do the bar chart, the gap in the horizontal axis is big (between 100 to 200) leading to lots more of lines. Is there any way this can be fixed?
Check out 9:09 in the video for steps that show how to adjust the gap width.

what are the reasons chart element might be greyed out? is it because i have no information ? i'm following my school's tutorial and it said here's how to insert chart. i have no numbers or anything. i just inserted a chart. its a big white square. and then the tutorial is immediately like here's chart elements, but i can't click on it. now i'm here trying to figure out why
