- What are the craziest, most overpowered things in State of Decay 2?
Maybe you want to check to see if you've overlooked a powerful weapon or item. Maybe you want to AVOID these to make the game harder.
Either way, you will see 6 of some of State of Decay 2's most overpowered things.
There are a lot more than 6 OP things. If something you figured would be on the list didn't make it, let me know what it was... maybe it'll make it in a Part 2 OP things!

Git Gud Fox cars or shotguns I think
PpK sLiPpEr CeLl
The car, on standard zone, could definitely make wave 2.
Your character is super op
Red Talon community members.
Giving a pyro launcher to a survivor and watching them shoot zombies from the watchtower at night was the coolest thing ever.
Actually never thought of that. The ammo count was never great but since survivors have unlimited I could see how it'd be great.
Dude I've never think of that, on my way to do that lol
Welp now I'm gonna a try this
Gonna try it asap ;)
I am now going to do this.
1 feral, 2 feral, 3 feral, Will Ferrell, it doesn't matter, this weapon kills everything
The pyrolauncher in a nutshell.
Lmao thx for the laugh
i died laughing at this.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The only thing I hate about it is it can't burn juggernauts
OP # 8: "Demote Leader"
Why? Promote Sheriff, build lounge for 'afk' leveling using Training Films. Demote. Promote Builder, do Sniper Tower. Demote. Promote Trader. Get Depot.
Don't have to kill your leader like you originally had to either.
@@GitGudFox precisely. You can keep all your chosen people and rotate leaders as needed.
@@GitGudFox Mind blown.
@@sakotsuku I need you. I love you
You can do that?!
I went to help my buddy in dreadzone. Took my leader cos she was the strongest. Torn in half by a blood plague juggernaut. We miss you Miller
RIP
This is why I have expendable characters to help my friends
Imagine dying in dreadzone
Rekt Maister never have but when ur destroying a plague heart and a horde, blood juggernaut and feral attack u...its pretty easy
@@dq3049 then Ur slow asf destroying the plague heart if you let a feral and a bpj get there
Dont complete the beginning mission to kill a plague heart, you can essentially have a NPC that moves with you base to base, and can be enlisted as a unkillable follower that constantly respawns free pipe bombs pain killers and fuel bombs.
Thats a +1 NPC that doesnt consume food, doesnt take a bed slot, helps defend base and allows you 2 NPC followers.
Only thing you cant really do with it is give it rucksacks and a firearm.
An interesting idea though it sounds like an exploit.
@@GitGudFox Will probably also be different with the big update coming up.
Yes, whenever I pick up a npc, I use the crap out of them before finishing their quest. They'll be injured and panting and asking me to slow down but they don't die so 🤷🏻♀️💁♀️
@@zuckerkane I heard that if you do that long enough, the npc will just leave and abandon the quest. is that true? how long do you use them for?
@@buckfuffalo229 If I quit the game at any point they'll be gone. So I use them for as long as I play in a day, they never left me so far. Although once the npc's group did say "Did you forget the task?" but nothing happened when I kept using him.
Never realized bloater grenades could be ignited. That's an awesome idea!
Sometimes the explosions wig out and don't count, but most of the time it'll kill plague hearts in 2 explosions.
Yes also in daybreak use flames on the bloater clouds so you can see clearly. So many people use them to burn jugs which is so stupid because then you catch on fire when you have to execute them
@@pj307 Jugs dont take fire damage though? Or at least very little
@@AA-bz1pr but if they fall they fell and we fill them with a full beating. The best they can do is say it was a foul.
I liked using the Drone Strike to eliminate Plague Hearts, it can even kill them inside buildings, just scope out where they are inside then go outside and throw the smoke near the wall closest to them. One shot for 75 rep.
My favorite trick is when you get a "Supply Run" mission, go to the the locations until you find the rucksack, *DO NOT PICK IT UP*! Leave it in the container you find it in, continue searching the other locations and more of the desired rucksack will keep spawning until you go through all the containers. After opening them all, you can have anywhere from 2-5 rucksacks!
Whaaaaaaaaa
@@kenlard-_-4050 I did this every time I got this mission. I sold my Xbone a while back and haven't played since Update 29 but it really does work...if they haven't patched it out!
I stopped using the trade depot because it made resourcing so easy, combined with the brewery it just took so much interest out of the game.
There will be a discussion in E119, I think it's that episode, where I talk about the problems with maxing efficiency.
Squelones brewery + a 'distillers enclave" for their "knowledge of alcohol" which buffs still yields in addition to having nearby food delivery package cooldown that you can spam if you stack cooldown reduction bonuses/outpost... It gets dumb when you really metagame that base.
I found a modder gave me guns with so much ammo in one clip had a few laughs havent played the game since turns out im a big fan of the struggle
@@stephenv5332 I've modded sod 2 before but not a fan of cheat mods or cheat guns. The only modded gun I have is just a cleo smg with an acog sight that I placed on it.
I like mods that enhance rpg elements or make the game harder.
@@stephenv5332 i dont like how the mods got into the regular game from pc players but its kinda helpful in daybreak when you wanna unlock everything lol except i didnt it before mods so maybe im jealous lol
Somebody probably already said this, but if you hit a plague heart with a bloater gas grenade and follow up with a firebomb (instead of a firecracker), that 1-2 combo will Usually take out the plague heart without any other actions.
I believe the explosion alone is enough to kill a plague heart in 1 hit on standard, and it should take 2 blasts to kill a plague heart on NMZ.
@Git Gud Fox someone recently did calculations on the gas bomb damage, lethal mode requires 3 bombs to kill, specially 2.4 bombs, a plague heart, in green, standard, and dread (I think) it only needs 1 bomb. It's incredibly powerful full stop
lol at the guy at the end who pyro'd his own tower.
Good catch, that was from Nightmare zone episode 100 special where I equipped every single community member with a pyrolauncher to see what would happen.
A 'most underwhelming' list could be a good way to get UL to acknowledge certain things as well.
I agree my example is that there is no difference in .22 rounds and 7.62 rounds when killing juggernauts.
Those issues are things that I think deserve their own video each especially things like ammo damage problems.
Git Gud Fox i feel the boons and their leader community goals could be somewhere to start, warlord and sheriff are actually kinda fun but trader is meh and builder....honestly the goals you have are boring there.
Absolutely. I love my baseball bats, but they are just so much inferior to either close combat or swordplay its like 'ehhhhhhhhhhhh... no?'
@@123darkelf Trader is a clear 2nd best to me. Maybe it depends on your difficulty level and style. Staring with 4k influence is a lot of flexibility and you start with a recruitable vendor at your front door.
I don't think the boons are an underwhelming element though. They're optional. If you find them OP don't use them or don't use them at all. It gives players options. I'm a more casual player and play sporadically so I don't mind some crutches here and there.
Im a new gamer on this game and im in normal mode i have a good feeling about this game
Takes a while to get the hang of, but the journey is fun.
It's very addictive, I know it have flows but it's a new type of game you not going to find in other zombie games and the permanent deaths are glorious, you really feel bad for your survivors when the stamina and health it's over
ALBERT WESKER I’m still trying to get over the death of my survivor Max in the main game and IzBee from Heartland. Max had just become a hero and IzBee was on her first outing.
Normal mode is way too easy once you figure out the game imo
I find myself struggling on dread 😂 toolboxes are the holy grail I swear. 😅
Scent block and ZomBait grenades is my favorite way to deal with Red Talon groups. But that bloater grenade is faster. lol
I use all 3 of them together typically.
you fight Red Talons?
I'm 2 years late but I just started playing state of decay 2 and completed my first legacy mission with the trader but watching this seriously helped me in my current 2cnd go around so thank you
Love it! Not often I smile watching a tip-video. I'm loving this game and I can't wait to turn up the heat inside State of Decay 2's underrated meat-grinder...
Great job man!
This is super crazy and omg helpful, I never knew any of this. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work.
There are a lot of things in the game that are much stronger than their description implies.
The S12 variant with a 30 round drum mag with a choke is pretty op, but it does get damaged quickly (I think 2 mags so 60 rounds). That with a couple of napalm grenades was my go-to plague heart set up, especially considering the shotgun has a full auto fire mode. Throw a napalm grenade on the heart, unload a mag on full auto and in a matter of seconds it’s dead or really close. Also if you need to clear the room of reinforcements before you kill it just toss your other napalm in there and watch them burn lol also something else I would somewhat consider op is survivors not using ammo. When I switch one out I give them one of my best weapons like a .50 cal with 1 round in it and they’ll destroy anything that comes too close to the base. Next time you switch to them the gun will still have the 1 round in it. Honestly I really like that though, for times when ammo is scarce
Survivors not using ammo is going to be talked about in the next top 6 video I do.
This was really helpful, gonna be taking advantage of these tomorrow!
Very useful content. Calm narration, no BS, keep it up and your channel will grow
Love that countdown music man
That was my first attempt at trying out Outrun/Synthwave. It's interesting how few instruments you need to make a tune that at least gets the job done. I wasn't able to get genuine Outrun drums, the iconic "Simmons" drums heard in 70s and 80s action movie songs, so I picked the next closest thing, raised the volume of its high frequencies to TRY and get that high pitched punch, and then I hid it in my voice to disguise it.
@@GitGudFox Sounded good. NewRetroWave is a synthwave youtube channel worth checking out, for inspiration or just some awesome music for its own sake. Hot tracks. They may actually be a record label in and of themselves at this point but I don't know for sure. Tons of amazing stuff coming out of NRW though.
It made me laugh haha wasnt expecting it!
Its like Far Cry Blood Dragon
i think gun slinging is quite overpowered. May not be as good as the above 6, but if you make a top 10 list, it would make it to the list I think.
I was about to say that as well basically auto aim headshot with any guns even shotguns there pinpoint accurate also take the 150 round AK you can kill 150 zombies with it without missing
What stopped gunslinging from being in the first wave is that it needs assistance from other items to reach its true power. You either need good stamina items to activate the aim snap aggressively or you need stamina boosting traits, like backpacking to fuel it. Or both, having both is also good.
It could definitely make it onto wave 2 though.
@@GitGudFox Likewise, please also make 10 most annoying things about this game, viz., supersonic zombies, bloater spawns, zombies jumping and latching onto windows, etc.
@@GitGudFox I personally go backpacking if I can or reroll for it because I don't carry stamina items at rank 7 with backpacking and regular stamina I have like 150 to 180 stamina usually and can kill any place with zombies or in nightmare 3 ferals in a group
I wouldn't trust not having stamina items. When the entire neighborhood arrives, not even gunslinging is enough to shoot through everything even with stamina items. You'd have to do a lot of running away to create space to continue shooting. You could also lose your car.
It's definitely doable, but it invites a lot of random mishaps. At that point, the pyrolauncher would also do the job better when fighting massive quantities of enemies since it's more ammo efficient and requires less skill or setup.
I remember watching your vids when you got around 1000 viewes per video, maaaaan how time has done you well. Way to go man!
I like the echo x3 crossbow, shoot 10 light arrows before reloading. Since the arrows drop sometimes if you do a headshot it's very handy. Rare to come across it though but it's one of the better weapons in the game for a stealth playthrough
I had no idea about most of these. Thank you!
They're pretty strong!
The red talon jeep, pilato on the game. Is very fast. Slows down if you upgrade to the smashwagon and is very rare to find. Looks very cool rolling around in a black 4x4
Keep up the grind you're 1 of the few good youtubers on state of decay
Probably because I'm one of the only ones!
Bloater grenades are the best way to clear hostile bases. Toss one and any ignition source, lather, rinse, repeat. You might need to shoot a couple who get out, but they wont have much health or much fight.
Normally I just gas then. I typically don't light the gas on fire.
Usually I find one or other. Works best. Admittedly havent experimented with the making an then torching a bloater cloud but I've thought of it.
An if ones REALLY annoyed or straited pissed at an enemy survivor group. Everyone and this channel forgot to mention this, the Zombait weapon grenade. Never tried myself but why risk it fighting an enemy community 1 vs them when can hang back and draw in a hoard to wipe or weaken them alot for me.
you can also get sniper support command from some enclaves.. it's kind of a rare enclave bonus but if you do find an enclave with it you don't have to use up 1 of your large slots for the sniper tower or put yourself through the hell of a game mode that is called "Daybreak"
You can also use them together since they can be used in succession or stacked.
Nice, just started my first play through so love the tips
Thanks for pretty much making me a guide to nightmare. Cause I struggle in dread at times
These items are all pretty strong.
Cheers, I like your list! I especially like the way you described the sniper tower with cleo transmitter on the side haha. Reminds me how I always call it the I-win-button too.
When you mention that normal zombies can sometimes protect the freaks by taking the sniper's attention, this is one pro of the cleo transmitter because it shoots so fast. When called in, everything dies fast while the sniper tower has to pick them off. But I agree sniper tower is better since it cost influence not prestige + shorter cooldown. It's even more busted you can use both at once for the ultimate delete opposition.
Lmao scentblock really is basically cheatcodes.
I still vote for gunslinging to own a place but you are right that it is drastically better when set up on a character with good stamina + stamina items. Other things maybe I'd vote for is how easy it is to create outpost/outpost-swapping (if you are ever in a bad situation ie car broke, low health about to die, and out of ammo, you can literally barge into almost any building in the game and walk out perfectly healthy and full on ammo and repair kits in 30 seconds thanks to easy outposts), Squelones brewery stills or giving bfgs to npc survivors for infinite 50 cal defense.
p.s. I like to build 2 radio outpost to even further improve trade depot + sniper tower + car delivery with really short cooldowns but thats overkill
If you had sniper tower, CLEO transmitting, and the sniper coverage from an allied community, activating them all at once would be the State of Decay 2 equivalent of mastering Ultra Instinct.
@@GitGudFox That's like bringing a high mobility mobile suit to a back alley knife fight. Wtf levels of overkill roflstomp XD.
The drone strike works on all modes, I've done it on dread zone.
I tried it out on Nightmare Zone recently where it seems to work as well.
Well, I learned a lot actually!!! Talking about that Pyro Launcher!!
It's one of my favorite weapons.
Damn, guessed 5/6 of them.
You had BFG instead of Survey car, and gunslinging was my #7 so hope to see them both in wave 2.
BFG is probably going to make it on wave 2.
Nice to know about the fire cracker and bloater gas grenades combo for the plague hearts lol. I usually just use three grenades to kill one
If you have the pyrolauncher, it is a very inexpensive way to kill them.
@@GitGudFox true but unfortunately I don't have the dlc so I got the three grenades and now the firecracker combination lol
Keep in mind that sometimes plague hearts will wig out and ignore an explosion, but you may have already experienced that with grenades.
@@GitGudFox funny enough I haven't
i think most overpowered thing is...joining other people games
not only you get "free stuff" for playing(when you gain influence) but all loot you deposit is free , your base has no unkeep and only cost for "playing" is parts for repairing weapons , ammo and consumables you use
you can literaly be drowning in loot by playing a bit online every now and then
I don't know. The terrible online connection I think balances it out.
@@GitGudFox just forward ports , it makes miracles really , even if you just grab invenvoty worth once and get first tier bonus its something:D
@@GitGudFox Plus theres loads of pretty solid modders, at least on xbox, that give u shitloads of free stuff
Git Gud Fox I’ve been helping (myself) to resources in a buddy’s world.
Another great vid from the Foxxxxxxxxxx. Nice one. GGGGIIIIT GUUUUD!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
*Cases of Bulk Plague Cure* is a really easy and simple solution when transferring maps or completing a legacy. You can stack up to 3 bulk kits meaning you have 12 plaque cures for your next game.
I'd say the anniversary cake is also op, it draws in zombies with I think the same range as a screamer, most of the zombies ignore you, even those that are close, they just go after the cake since it emits such a loud noise, the cake will also burn every zombie near it, making it a good way to clean up some infestations or a horde
Love your voice man haha reminds of a crazy survivalist type of human which is perfect for this type of game lmao!
I was trying to not sound like a used car salesman, but I think that's just how it wound up coming out.
Wow nice job fox agree with all rankings but would have liked a top 7 including zombait as that can be rather op aswell
6 is my favorite number which is why it was 6. I can always make follow ups.
I feel like zombait is balanced
#1 enclaves basically outposts that give both bonus and trading and 3 survivors which will help killing zeds if nearby so if you've got a juggernaut chasing you just take them to a friendly enclave and they will shortly help you kill it. Also radio call ins as well.
My cousin picked up a scent block with a lot of infection and it filled it halfway so we did a 4 minute adventure to get meds and the cure
Yeah, they can infect you quite a bit if you don't prepare ahead of time.
I love this type of video keep up the good work
I figured it'd be a good one. Nice and easy to watch with a brisk pacing.
Great video!
Thanks! I was hoping it'd be something people would want to see.
I did not know about the bloater gas and firecracker killing plague hearts. Great video. I love the scent block. Its my backup when I go out so if I get into deep trouble. I still say SOD1 Breakdown is much harder than SOD2.
Sometimes the explosion damage can wig out, but it works most of the time.
Ah of course amenties. I think I learned from you that for my first campaign I should go builder leader compared to the rest of the boons.
It also happens to be the easiest boon to unlock.
RIP CLEO remote rocket pods. I used to love them in Standard Zone because they would always one shot plague hearts but now it takes 2 of them. Oh well at least a pyro minefield works (if put like directly on top of the heart itself).
They nerfed a lot of weapons to make the plague hearts stronger.
never been such a thing and i had the game since day 1 ,never been cleo rocket pods.
oh nm i never use daybreak weapons very often so i forgot about them lol
Just downloaded, thanks for the info, very informative!
There's a lot to learn in SoD2!
Hey Fox. Loving your videos!
I'm glad it was entertaining!
IMO assault drone attacks are OP. Throw a can of smoke and instakill a plague heart. You can get two or three plague hearts if you are quick enough and ready to throw each time the cool down runs out
Yeah, every 30 minutes. Depends on the heart though since a heart deep in the middle of the building can avoid the blast.
The new fireman’s hatchet from Cash Boumont is really strong! Idk if you’ll go over melee weapons next cause if you do that’d be a great idea
I will do melee weapons, and the fire axe will likely make the list.
Thanx for info ! Great video!!
Glad it was helpful!
didnt know about the bloater grenades or the pyro launcher, thanks dude
That's my job! No problem, just... be careful as they are hazardous to you as well. The bloater gas can kill your own character pretty fast.
Just waiting for S.O.D 3
Gonna be waiting for a while unfortunately.
I hope it’s going to be better now that they have more resources.
blackquiver at least 3 years from now
Funny thing. Second game isn't that different from first one. Except added more features... 😒 What do you thing 3rd game will be after 3 years if they realise? Just more new features... Which is good, but still everything is very same 🤔
I would like to see expanded weapon attachments, and better outfit customization. Also allow character traits rerolls and allowing to lock character portraits while wasting 3 hours trying to get good traits/aesthetic toons when starting a new community.
One of my allies also give me sniper cover, and it gives me a trigger item. I don't know if it's better or worse, but it's pretty good!
You could probably use them together. I know you can use the RT transmitting sniper cover with the sniper tower. That means you could possibly use all 3 of them together.
It got me out of a jam against a bunch of zombies and 3 juggernauts when i had no ammo
I recently decided to start a whole new game on nightmare, which I didn't care to do for a long time because it warned that enemy humans can headshot you. And I remembered how hard the game was without that builder card for a new game...
Love the new style for this video
It's similar to my best bases format, but I tried to focus on being brisk.
I've lured a juggernaut to hostile humans and wipped out two for humans for me 😂😂
Bruh no snap aim, thats THE Game changer right their. Before Snap aim 90%sneek w/scope hunter bow. With Snap aim, Crazy Ass Rambo Rush in attack mode!
There are a few reasons why Gunslinging didn't make it onto the list although it is strong enough to make it onto the next 6.
- You have hope the skill is an option when leveling a character.
- It's only useful on the person who has the skill. The pyrolauncher can be shared, the sniper tower protects anyone etc.
- You need a retraining manual to switch everyone onto gunslinging which are inaccessible to new players.
- You need a lot of stamina for it to see its full potential so powerful stam items and skills like backpacking. These 6 are automatically good without condition.
It's still an OP skill, but it it has enough restrictions that I decided it wouldn't make it onto the first 6.
Also, I've never had any comments about people saying Gunslinging ruined the game for them while people have repeatedly told me that the trade depot, amenities, and the pyrolauncher made the game so easy they stopped enjoying the game.
Useful info - cheers!

@@GitGudFox I had the first state of decay on the 360 back in 2013 - got it on a whim as it looked good. It felt a bit like a long playable tech demo, but so playable. I just got the juggernaut edition of number 2 for half price, £12.50 - about $14 I think? Loving it so far.
I think the old SoD has some things that are better than SoD2, but the biggest improvement is the economy. You can buy, sell, trade, and do a lot with it in SoD2 compared to SoD1.
Awesome!!! Thanks for this!!!
50 cal weapons are missing, sieges become an influence farm, only ferals may become a problem. I love seeing your footage from your nightmare runs
The B50FG has a good argument to appear in wave 2.
Sniper Tower kills the most nearest enemy from you.
You can also get this effect from the Sniper Enclave.
The sniper effects can all stack up which still makes them useful.
Sniper enclave is the only one that can be used in multiplayer. Which makes it easy to help friends who do not have the ability.
Bro out here selling the Pyro Launcher, "Plague Hearts? No Problem!" Great vid
Until it got nerfed at least. About half a year after this video, they greatly reduced the strength of the pyrolauncher against plague hearts.
@@GitGudFox joke's on them, I horde explosives
Wow! 😱 Thanks for sharing.
Great video Fox I really enjoyed it! Your list is on point and as usual we are both tracking in the same direction. All of the things you listed are overpowered especially scent block. Things I would add to the list. GUNSLINGING: I tried this out for a while and it made the game super easy and super boring. STIMULANTS and ZEDADRINE: I have an enclave member activate one of them, equip a "CLEO Great Hammer" for the impact stat, and chop down plague Jugs (no scent block) like mowing the grass. Also with enough stamina you can basically dodge your way out of anything. RED TALON CHARACTERS/OUTPOSTS AS BEDS/SWITCHING OUT CHARACTERS AT OUTPOSTS: are all on my list as well (mainly just because how unrealistic they are). Going the opposite direction I would say that ammunition damage differentials are underpowered. Why use a Prepper's AK to take out a Juggernaut when the Prepper's .22 does the same damage with the same amount of hits...Stupid! By the way left trigger will stop the Pyro Launcher from firing.
It is a big shame and flaw that ammo types is irrelevent. ATM ammo is either a pyrolauncher round, a 50 cal or 40mm or cleo round to kill jugs, or a standard bullet for common zeds. The type of bullet is arbitrary.
Coming from someone who uses a lottttt of desert eagle, revolvers, and shotguns for fun.
Zeon might have won if munition types didn't matter be it cold steel or mega particles.
@@GitGudFox Sieg Zeon!
@@GitGudFox They would have won if they just killed Revil early on.
Container Fort
Possibly the best base in the game.
Git Gud Fox definitely best large base and strongest contender for best over all. I can’t even remember a draw back to it.
Block the back door with a car and a car on the right side of the fort and zeds can’t get in. Use the front door to come and go. Best base in the game by far.
@@wasdq1234 I did this and one of my survivors opened the door and destroyed the car. WTF? Plus sometimes a Jugg will attack the car just to be a dick.
Great video Fox.
I'm glad it was enjoyable!
Great video fox lol
@4:30 does this work anywhere on the map or just near the base?
It works anywhere.
Definitely Red Talon recruits. They're the Winter Soldiers of SoD2 lol
If you can stand playing Daybreak.
Day break is pretty fun solo or not
Red Talon recruits are crazy terrible lol, always with the fighting and morale penalties. Better spending your well earned PP on other things
@@garyshaw2694 I mean the morale penalties can easily be shirked, especially with the red talon officer quarters which is good not just for superb morale but other assets also. If thats not enough then a white noise machine or two will finish the job.
though prestige is too much effort to earn.
@@zeta5684 Fair and valid points but in my own opinion the reward for the proverbial risk is not worth it. Each to their own though :)
okay thanks!!!! ur my favotite sod2 youtuber :))
Cool more stuff I didnt know about to look for thanks. I dont mind powerfull stuff
I think Willie-Pete Grenade is also super OP. It could almost killed a plague heart in normal mode with ease.
The problem with petes is their accessibility isn't particularly good since you have to hope you can find them.
@@GitGudFox Well it is, but for some players who play long enough. Having tens or even a hundred Willie-Pete is not an issue since they looted all the rare crates. In Heartland, one of the characters can magically make a Willie-Pete Grenade out of some chemicals.
It still raises the question of whether it's OP or not if you have to have this really significant setup to produce them. Like, the items in this list of 6 are super powerful on their own without setup. That's the key. Petes are really strong, and I like using them, but I typically only have like 20 or so at a time.
So I didn’t have to craft all those molotovs for the skull hoodie?
Not ifyou have a pyrolauncher. It's even easier if you use zombait near a cluster of plaguehearts. It'll bring a ton of zombies to the area.
Oh Scentblock... I still remember on my first nightmare playthrough a month ago. Wanted to use it for the first time in my life to clear a very hidden plague heart. And it didn't work because apparently the previous patch broke it on Xbox. I was so "glad" I collected dozens on easier difficulties. Then I repaired my car and it launched into the stratosphere. Frontal executions still don't work since then as well.
The most OP things:
1, You can trade / transfer / duplicate any items with other players
2, You keep everything by changing the difficulty.
I don't know if I'll including item duping since that is not an intended mechanic.
Great list 🦊👍
I'm glad you agree!
Eternal Guard’s Infinite Rage, that AK is extremely OP.
Guess what I just got.
Combined with gunslinger this thing is ridiculous.
2 Hydroponics with 2 Compost bins as the mod.
You can get +9 food just with one Hydroponics w/ Compost bin and with two you get +18
They're strong, but I don't know if they break the game or are insanely overpowered. They are what I would consider necessary though.
Git Gud Fox You May be right but I consider them overpowered because right now I’m at a population of 12 in nightmare zone and with those two Hydroponics w/ Compost Bins it makes it to where I’m always at a surplus for food and I don’t ever need a food outpost so it leaves open an outpost slot for any other resource.
@@ColtonT13 what makes hydro good is amenities that makes possible to have them in the early game .
Great playlist.
Strategy playlist is probably the one with the most views.
Very good video
I'm glad it was informative!
Willie pete grenades are the most broken items
They're not easy to keep stockpiled up.
Ffs ive been using C4 (which are hard to obtain) to kill plague hearts but no no bloater grenades can kill em easily with just a firecraker
Also thx Fox because i didnt know that till now
Yeah, one of the tricks I learned from Season 1 but didn't talk about much.
I normally use trader boon to have an advantage next map. Normally get a 1000. Base. Electric 2000. Water 1000. And sheriff boon. I got 3 gas outposts to offset the gas daily of water and electric.
The reason I don't value the the trader boon is because influence isn't that valuable once you get the ball rolling. Plaguehearts give you ridiculous amounts of influence, and you'll often be capped 9999 unless you make massive purchases at a mysterious trader, and if you do, more plaguehearts or selling the massive stockpile if items you accumulate is going to still give you influence better than the trade depot without boxing you into tightly chosen outpost options. Water, power, and 3 gas outposts is already 5 out of your 6 options, 7 if you have hacking.
I met friend that mod so they hook me up & warlord imo is pointless in harder difficulties but yeah I see what you're saying just when I restart a community the trader makes me feel a little better instead of wasting time? That way I can get what I need. Then get the ballrolling
My gamertag is : vl Evan West lv (if u ever need any help or wanna just crush some zombie skulls)
If that allied enclave, the boon traders, stayed with you, then the trader's legacy would have been my 2nd pick for boons.
bro I genuinely thought I was getting rick-rolled 1:58 I never paused a video so fast in my life
Red talon operatives are OP but worth it
If you can stand playing Daybreak.
@@GitGudFox if you don't have friends ofc this game will be boring quick but since i like trophies i solo alone
"This weapon is stupid "
😂😂😂am dying
Just point and shoot, the pyrolauncher in a nutshell.
@@GitGudFox At first I didnt know you can interrupt the firing of it just by dodging. It does degrade over time like most guns but that can still be negated by Weapon Handling. So I guess its still broken.
thanks for the help
I'm a bit late but I discovered another way of getting the Advanced Biochem station. You can get it from a " Echo Lab " trader, I was lucky to find the trader had one for 1,500
300 zombies burned has never been more of a walk in the park
I just want to set the world on fire.
There needs to be a 3rd game to this series, it’s addictive. Nice vid👍🏻😎🙂
Its coming in 2022 😎
Tip about killing plague hearts: if you don't have Ind Pack for the pyro launcher, use pipe bombs. They're pretty cheap, and about 2-3 pipe bombs were able to kill the Hearts.
The BAR you get from the bounty guy as part of the WWII pack almost isnstakills plague hearts. 12 rounds on automatic is all it takes, you can clear a map in minutes if you wanted
Not on Lethal Zone.
I’d say the .50 caliber is great. It 4 hits the plague heart
Didn’t they change so it take 7-8 shots?
@@KingFunky Not sure about higher difficulties but on the new map I four hit it. It's also a good combo when mixed with pipe bombs.
@@L-Archange which .50 do u use? My Timberwolf 7 hits in normal and 9 on NMZ
Driving vehicles in reverse, possibly the most efficient way to kill regular, armoured and screamer zombies in the game, if only a bit risky.
The car was one of the OP mechanics, in Standard Zone, that I was thinking about for a while including.
@@GitGudFox Only in standard? I guess vehicles have less health in Nightmare but I've been using them to clear hordes and even juggs to great effect in NZ as well.
I must be using the cars wrong. Cause my cars will be close to exploding if i try to kill a jug with it.
Honorable mention: Staging Area.
Eliminates all material costs for base upgrades
Also for a hero bonus you can get sniper support for the same cost and influence
