I’ve had that exact model and color for about a year. I added a thumb nub on it to help with opening at times, which goes against the overall design for gutting. I wanted benchmade and orange and ended up with this over the bugged out model. It’s super light weight to carry. I haven’t taken a deer yet so can’t speak to that. It opens up Amazon boxes like a pro. I’d buy again. Previous edc was a standard Buck made in the USA modem. Very big difference in weights.
I'm starting to like "super plastic" handles, especially in bright colors. I recently got a Cold Steel Finn Wolf with a blue Griv-Ex handle. Even though the handle doesn't have any steel liners, the knife is rock solid.

Good video. Like that Axis lock. I keep buying Fixed blades. Most recent was a Grohmann Canadian Belt Knife-Carbon Steel flat grind. I can recommend for hunters and fisherman
That reminds me of my EDC folder. It's an Eafengrow EF950 and I love it. It's D2 steel though. Flat grind. Axis lock. Almost identical.
Most people don’t seem to remember that Early Benchmade’s weren’t all “American Made”...Still like my Crooked River’s better...

Benchmade warranty is amazing The life sharp also figures into the cost I don’t use it. If you need a pocket clip they will send you one for free no shipping cost either. Spyderco sells them to you plus shipping. I needed a Spyderco fixed. It needed new plastic washers for the pivot. I sent it in and was told they can’t fix it. I could get a new one at discount. The discount was still more than the retail price of the knife.
I have several BM knives love them but the only one I was disappointed with was the original bugout it just felt flimsy almost lost it wouldn’t stay in my pocket with the pocket clip

As much as I like my Axis Lock Benchmade’s. The Giant Mouse Jutland made me retire the TaggedOut...And I keep loosing those lightass knives, now it’s my Bailout that’s gone rogue...lol

Eh. Benchmade lost me years ago with a combination of their pricing and anti gun debacle. The only two I still own now are the pre safety auto my dad bought me from a gun show when I was 12 & the Amicus flipper I bought for him when he couldn’t open normal knives bc of arthritis.
There was never an anti-gun debacle. It was a bunch of morons on the Internet projecting their silly assumptive fantasies onto a benign event.
@@preparedmind101 They agreed to destroy police seized firearms. Thats not a thing that any pro 2A company would do. Pretty simple. Pro 2A would’ve told them to take a hike, & publicly shamed the police. Neutral would have politely declined, & nobody would’ve heard about it. Anti 2A would have done what they did.

Hind sight is 20/20, if I had spent all the money I spent on prepping over the last 10 years and bought bitcoin instead I could afford a fortress today with paid armed guards.
Love the color but I think that if I accidentally sit on it, it may slice into my ass, if there was more metal reinforcing it like a metal liner like some models have maybe I'd go for it, nice anyway though.
