At around 1 minute, 40 seconds, there is a shot, not of a BR type 2 2-6-2T (which is what it is described as being), but of a Stanier 3MT 2-6-2T, of which there are very, very, few movies. Regards. Ian Thomson N.

I love the LMS. Makes sense that the biggest railway/region would be the last to abolish steam.

+Russell Streak Yes but their locos were nearly all cut for scrap all the same, and good riddance to these polluting locos.
      CUT, CUT, CUT, BREAK.
      SCRAP, SCRAP, SCRAP, DESTROY!!

Get rid of them too. Clean electric power from massive solar arrays is the way to go. And where lines can't be electrified, use hydrogen power, using the solar to split hydrogen and oxygen from water.

Sure you're not thinking too far ahead. Solar power yes. But I don think hydrogen is ready. They can't even use it in cars yet.

+Russell Streak don,t listen to this guy , he is a troll , he keeps on about scrapping and melting down steam locos due to them causing pollution ? a few preserved lines arn,t going to bring on wholesale pollution , the blokes a nob ! bring on the sulpheric smoke , ha ha !!!!!!!!
