1)je to skvělej komentator asi jako jihoameričané ve fotbale.
2)byl to skvelej zapas az na rozhoci,co měli odpíslat neodpískali a naopak viz Jagr.
3) Finové maji radši nás než Rusáky když koukneš na koment s Švédskem tak tam z toho měl ještě větší radost,protože je známá i rivalita mezi Suomi a Svenska.

The Czechs were the underdogs and played hard. The Russians have most of the talent, but didn't quite make it this time. I couldn't understand the commentators so I'm not sure why the Russian goal was disallowed and the blatant kick goal by the Czech's was ok. It was close and that's always a good thing. Great effort from both teams.
The goal was scored after the horn sounded, so obviously it can’t be allowed

BUT this goal was not kicked into goal, the goal is correctly "judged"
as a normal redirecting touch (normally done with your hockey stick).
Ofcourse it is hard for Russia, but silver is not so bad either

@Mablungx Datsyuk's goal is clearly after the end of the period, soly there is no question of acclaiming it... The only point where Russians can complain is the 5 minutes penalty...
i think the emelin' s penalty could be assesed as charging
Czech deserved to win and even without NHL players, they beated all teams in top - CAN, RUS, FIN, SWE
Emelin hit Jagr's knees so it was judged as fall under legs...and in this case player gets 5 minutes and personal penalty...it was 5+20 cause Jarg couldn't play

1) to all the russian haters out there.. this game is about GOALS.. if your team, filled with NHL superstars cant score a single goal (6 on 3 pp does not really count) against a team of players from czech league, you dont deserve to win..
2) its strange that almost no russian stars play for Stanley cup now, couldnt win at Olympics, and were defeated at IHWC too.. learn to win.. and learn to behave.. internet is not Mongolia..
@u0606459 well i would point out the fact that Russians were not able to score in 59 minutes of game play with all of their best stars. They were outplaying Czech a little bit, but since they didn't score they couldn't win :) if u would see the rise of the Czech team from the beginning u would see, that they won mostly because of their team will, not because of playing nice.. and why not?

@berkut2 Please do NOT mix hockey leagues and international hockey. Only international hockey is at issue here. I didn't tell anything about the NHL or other leagues (that you should follow them etc.). The problem is that not even the other teams are strong at the WCH (not only Canada or the U.S.). None of the participants has a really strong squad there, because the NHL play-offs still go on, when these WCH are played.
How could be Russia first in some World ranking if their A-team can't beat some no-name Czech B-team?

@ropynka That's no one's problem. This is not a dispute America vs. Europe. This is only a question of whether the BEST players are present or not. And nowadays it's quite obvious that it's only at the OLYMPICS that the best ones take part. I absolutely admired the Czechs when they won the millenium tournament in Japan in the 90's. That must've been a fantastic experience for your country. But the IIHF World Championships are a piece of crap. A shitty hockey is performed there year after year.

These so called "world championships" sucks. I can honestly tell you almost nobody cares about them here in america. You know - the best players usually do NOT leave the NHL play-offs as early as at the end of the first round - precisely such losers take part in these annual IIHF championships. Kind regards.
