And with every state in the US excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Georgia, Utah and Nevada participating the chances that someone would win were pretty high. There are 292 million combinations of 6 random numbers. What’s unique about this instance is that this was the record amount of players, so it’s likely all 292 million combinations were played or at least enough combinations to trigger a winner.
