- If you go back to like 2013 or 14 on my channel, you'll see once upon a time, a baby Jackie got to drive on Laguna in formula cars. I love this track, I always have, and I always will. Making our way here, after all these years, just feels wholesome. Sorry I didn't drive so well!!

@@yanngoarant1302 GT4 race car is lighter, and has Motorsport ABS, and slicks tho.
The cars make lap time in really different places, so it’s cool to compare them for sure

Unfortunately we're not making the Ridge this weekend. Logistics became a real challenge this year. I definitely want to bring our Supra to the Ridge but it's so hard to justify bringing it out so far from home for a single event.
For reference, we did the CA trip, one round trip 5-6 different tracks and events. We're heading to the east coast next, same thing, one round trip with multiple tracks planned. Traveling so far for a single event becomes really hard financially so we haven't been able to justify Pacific Northwest, even though it's a big market for us for sure.

Understandable. Either way, stumbled upon your channel a week or so ago and have binged watched your Supra development starting with your first one. It’s definitely been an interesting journey and congratulations.
You’ve got an old motorcycle road racer subscribed to your channel now. I’ll most likely head to the Ridge to check out the time attack. You’ve got me leaning towards the new Supra over a Corvette for my next toy. Keep it up.

One thing I dont understand, why are front splitters not vented? Its supposed to be a wing for the front, without a vent after providing the downforce, the wind will simply stall/block on the front

Just found your channel, I've been researching a car for the track. Looking at a supra, gts 4.0 cayman, thought about the M2, zl1 1le. The supra is actually top of my list right now, drove a 22 auto (looking at a 23 manual) and was impressed by the feel and surprising power. If I get a supra, the brakes and suspension are first on my list to upgrade, what would you recommend for both? It is good to see someone actually race their supra and not just lower it for aesthetics.

Hey Jackie, I'm sure you've mentioned it before. But what lap timers are you using? I'm getting through NASA HPDE3 and need/want to start recording my time for when I progress into TT.
We use the Aim Solo 2!

So are the paddle shifters on this car just a useless waste of time?
They’re awful to use imo. If I were doing track days and wanted to use them, I would want paddle shift extensions on them. The auto shifts better than most people on its own though, so not really needed.

It was either Covid or a pretty serious cold, and that partly contributed to our decision to leave early. As much as I loved to keep driving Laguna, I wasn’t too keen to get others sick ha

I don't think that's a setting for our Supra's. I just do the regular sport mode and send it lol
@@JackieDing86 you can code it in with bimmercode like it’s a z4 but it’s cool that it’s this good in sport
