  • In NH, you need annual vehicle inspections and Dec is my month. I knew the brakes were getting bad and I crossed my fingers hoping it would pass, to find out it was failed for rotors and pads that were a little too far gone.
In this video, I will show you what is involved with replacing the rotors and pads on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
I am not sponsored by Power Stop nor Auto Zone, I bought these parts with my own money.
Below are the brakes that fit the Overland, maybe even the Summit, with the Heavy Duty (HD) brakes. I believe HD brakes are equipped on the GC's with the factory towing package. Be sure to check your vehicle in Power Stops part finder on their website www.powerstop.com/.

Nice job! I've owned my 14 since new and miss that firm pedal feel, went away after 3 years I only put on 6k a year. I put on the same Z36 truck and tow like yours 2 years ago - no difference. Had the dealership do the brake fluid change $129 at last inspection in march - no difference. I'm guessing the rubber lines or master cylinder. So pissed cuz I did front pads and rotors on my friends 07 Corolla (went with Toyota parts) and now it feels like mine did when new. Gonna figure it out next month.

Ugh dude. Don’t tell me this! 😂🙉🙈 I’m thinking lines first and if that’s no good, maybe the master cylinder. Maybe it’s a vacuum issue? I’ll explore that more after I do fluid and lines. Hopefully this year.

I'm waiting on my rear pads to come so I can change the front and back all the way out including the line

Nice! These feel so good after being refreshed. Yours will feel good too, especially with new fluid and lines. Awesome!

Nice video Steveo and great timing! In NH as well and I have a 2012 JGC 5.7 also and will be doing some power stops soon as well. Are you still liking the Corsa exhaust? Thinking of getting that myself

Nice dude! Where about a in NH are you? I’m absolutely loving the corsa, so mean sounding. I find myself in the throttle more because it just sounds so good. Still turning heads with it! Thanks for reaching out!

@@iambigsteveo Brookline - Also what CAI you running? I was strongly considering AFE...I like the S&B but they dont make one for my year.

@@dank6084 sweet! I’m also in Southern NH, probably 30 mins away!
I’m running the Volant intake, install was a breeze and I have the “lifetime” filter which is going on about 30k miles now, ish, and still going strong. However, I wouldn’t recommend this setup because the shroud is made of some kind of plastic that has become brittle from the engine heat and it’s spiderweb-cracking all around it. Also, the intake tube rests on the AC line, I needed to make a makeshift shield with an old rubber hose line and clamps so it wouldn’t wear a hole in the ac line.
I’m not familiar with intakes of any brand if I am honest, but if I were to do it again, I’d probably go with afe. Looks like a solid product and visually looks badass.
