This stuff is amazing, I used clear on my tires (raised white lettering) and black on my wife’s car, absolutely out of control!!
Which one to you think looks better over all, clear or black?
@@sinatra617 great results from both, if I didn’t have raised white letters I would have used black on both vehicles as the clear was tough to find, eBay is good or Amazon
@@Louie901 lol its the opposite now. The black is hard to find and the clear is available. On amazon at least. The balck was 7 something and 8 something to ship. It was out of stock for prime members. I went with the clear cz it was available for prime members. I guess I'll try the clear and after try the black.

Landon, just a thought on Autozone's stocking of the Duplicolor. They maybe out due to supply difficulties incurred from COVID 19, reduced work force and hours throughout the value chain going back to Duplicolor, and Duplicolor's suppliers, etc..
Jay Zstr, The only tire paint Auto Zone Carries is the black version. The inquired for me and they do not carry the clear anymore.

Why wouldn't you spray clear paint on the aluminum WHEEL for added PROTECTION and easier cleaning, etc.??????
They had a product like this in the past and after a month or so it started yellowing and cracking, does this do the same?

Thinking of spraying this on a big workout flipping tire. How do you think this would hold up over time. Keep in mind if you're not familiar with tire flipping this will also be hit with a big hammer for workouts as well as flipping.
James I used to do body building and everything else under the sun in the usmc. This will make it slick you do not want that and a hammer will cause it to degrade quick
AQUALUX AUTO DETAILING thanks for reply. Have a guy delivering a tire this week. What do you recommend to make it look nice and still be functional? Besides a solid cleaning of soap and water. I’ll be mainly keeping this in the garage
James Rivers you can try a water based tire dressing then cut it 4:1 that should add some satin sheen and you should be good. However with that said you were going to be dealing with it browning because it’s not getting used like it supposed to because tires have antiozonants in them and when the tire does not get cycled or driven in a circular motion so it can release those agents it will start to turn brown so just keep that in mind
Unpainted my tire letter with oil based tire paint. Will spraying this affect the letter paint? Does help repel dirt?
