Facts. If Nintendo wants to keep their projects a secret they should be allowed to do so. Nintendo has proven time and time again that they can and more often than not will deliver good products this generation.
@@Max-ew8cg because there's nothing to make anything on, when your channel is based around nintendo and there's nothing to talk about that's a problem. People can't just change their content out of the blue, yt pretty much kills your channel when you do that. So while I agree it's kinda dumb the amount of videos like this are happening, I can't blame them because if they do anything different the yt algorithm will punish them drastically, because there's literally nothing to talk about

I'm a firm lover of Nintendo. I use the word “firm” because a relationship with Nintendo can be very frustrating. I went nuts for the switch in the first few years, but there’s just so much stuff Nintendo refuses to capitalise on for… no apparent reason. It took 4 years to even introduce Bluetooth audio… I got a ps5 a month ago and I have not touched my switch since.
The ps5 has no exclusives so you practically wasted almost 1K dollars on a system with barely any first partys and is apprently according to sony on its final years

Next console is not confirmed. I think 2024 is just not that different than 2023. They will have blowout in June. I think if they are truly at the last stage of next gen development, leaks and rumours would not be as quiet as this.

Ninty has spoiled us. I for one am perfectly happy waiting. I think breaks like these are important. You can’t just crank new games and new products out all the time. The company needs time to breath and the community needs time to appreciate what their absence feels like. We can’t take for granted what Nintendo games bring to our lives. Nintendo can fail and it would only take a few musters for them to be forced to throw in the towel or change for the worse. I don’t think people realize how fragile the gaming industry is. Making no the right moves is critical for the longevity for Nintendo. Do you want them to fail and be left with mobile games and Fortnite for the rest of your life? We have plenty of games to go back and play. Give them time to make the best moves instead of rushing out something new for the sake of new.
Exactly, we’ve at least with Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, people need to quit moaning and enjoy what we have and what we have to come.
@@Adamtendo_player_1 Honestly, Luigi's Mansion 2 was my wish list during Wii era. I always wanted a follow up or a sequel. Though, some people will just sh*t on Dark Moon I personally looking forward to playing it. I think Dark Moon was a good game on 3DS.

The thing is… people just expect Nintendo and gaming in general to last forever. There won’t always be a new console. There won’t always be a new Mario game coming. I don’t think the end is now, but I do think people need to stop expecting a new thing to be coming out like clockwork because I think that’s going away soon.
Hey, I remember last year, right before the June Direct, all we had on the upcoming games schedule was Pikmin 4. They could still have a bunch of unannounced games for this year and wait until just before the release of Luigi's Mansion 2 HD to announce them.

I feel like everyone always forgets, that the Switch gets new games throughout every week. Not always made by Nintendo, and not always good games, but there are times where a great game by an indie developer company, releases. Likewise, people very often forget that Konami doesn't just make pachinko "games", they have sole rights to making videogames of the Yugioh franchise, and have supported Master Duel and Duel Links for quite a long time now. Plus, they gave the okay to Capcom to retain the Boktai crossover content in the Megaman Battle Network Legacy Collection.
I swear, so many people are completely oblivious to the truths about games of today. People assuming things without putting the effort to check. btw, this comment's contents is not directed at you specifically, I'm just tired of people assuming "truths" of things that aren't actually true. Especially in the topic of videogames. We might not have much news about what games are coming out for the Switch, but it's not like the Switch is running dry of any new releases on it. The majority of the games on Nintendo Switch are indie releases.
Plus, if I get whatever is Nintendo's next console, I'm not going to pass on getting it, just because Nintendo may or may not release a big good first party Nintendo game on it. If it's a repeat of the Switch's situation, there's going to be more indie games that are probably going to be very affordable at some point. I HATE those "elitists", who won't put money towards buying a game, if it's not a AAA developer game. Arguably, some indie games out there are far better than some of those AAA developer games out there. fyi, this comment is from someone who was one of the many who skipped on the Wii U. And also coming from a huge Nintendo fan.

I know Deltarune technically isn't announced to release this year and Sonic 3 will most likely be delayed but they're still in the window for this year
@Nin10doland: If they count the partner show-case that happen feburary 21, 2024, as a main line. April is too early it is only a 2 month seperation, and the exception for the earliest was a 3 month seperation between the main line dirrect, remember last year they got a main dirrect in June, and then only 3 month after the earliest exception a main line Direct in September last year. So if they do have a lot to cover this year, the earliest the main line dirrect could be within the last two week of May. IF not then it would be regular waiting time of 4 to 5 month. So the latest would be the end of Jully

No, they do not have to give you something to discuss. Nintendo is in the business of spreading games, not information. So they have no obligation to reveal something just because there's nothing confirmed right now, only when they have something ready to market. That being said, I don't think they'll go 6 months without any games, I think they'll drop some remakes/remasters on social media. But as far as the new console and its games? I think they'll give us a codename and release window in May and little else and the actual reveal won't happen until Fall.

If the theories about a new console coming *soon* are true, then it raises the question for me and possibly some others, "If the new console is gonna release *possibly* this year, then why is Pokemon Legends Z-A having a confirmed release date for some time in 2025 (aka later than the theorised release for a new console)?", unless they go do a Play Station and put it on both the Switch and the new console, It's unlikely but its also not off the table considering that's what happened with LoZ: Breath of the Wild (with it being released for Wii U and Switch).

Even though Nintendo not being at GamesCon doesn't necessarily mean they have no games, I still don't think there's anything notable left for the year (aside from what we already know).
The only twist to that could be Metroid Prime 4. But considering how long it's been since we've heard anything about the game & how hype around Switch is at an all time low, I'm not sure they'd want to reveal it without also revealing a Switch 2 version alongside of it.
Obviously, I could be wrong. Maybe Prime 4 will be a Switch-only game. That's a mistake imo, as Metroid DESERVES the spotlight & a full marketing push to ride the hype of a next-gen system.

Nintendo’s just preparing for their next console. They wont reveal any games for it before revealing the system first, which wont be for a while. Basically, the switch is in a drought right now because it’s the old platform. Once the new console is revealed we’ll see some games.

I’m personally happy with this. A drought can only mean they’re saving games for next year. Think about their history. They took 2005 off, went crazy from 2007-2009. They took 2011 and 2012 off, coasted during 2013, and then went absolutely bonkers in 2014 and 2015. They took the end of 2015 and all of 2016 off, and we all know how 2017 went. The only outlier was 2023, which had no break and was incredible anyways. With 2024 off, Nintendo can save it all for 2025.
Nintendo would ruin the hype of the release of a new Macy's blimp.

2024 is going to be like 2016. An overall slow year with not many big releases because of the next console releasing likely next year. Everyone needs to just calm down, people are acting like Nintendo is doomed just for having a slower year. Not every year can be as big as 2017, that's literally impossible for any game company.
