Biggest difference is that MP4 has been on metroid prime fans radar for over a decade and that coping was finally answered a couple years ago (couple being 6 years ago y’know when the switch was still in it’s hay day) with no reveals or release to this day

I feel like we'll get a standard Nintendo Sirect either in May or June discussing games coming out throughout the rest of 2024. Well a direct focusing on the next new council will be in September instead. I mean they could tease the next console during the summer but going into great details about it will probably wait until the autumn season.
They’re definitely saving their big announcements for June. The best games always get announced during the Summer, and release in the Fall just in time for Christmas.
Definitely this summer with the announcement of a brand new Mario Party.
After no Normal Direct in February, I'd already assumed it's either in June or September. Nintendo do be unpredictable but they are actually fairly predictable in terms of Directs and usually sticking to the schedule even if they skip some for a time.

Hopefully, there will be one soon! I've been waiting for a while, and I really hope that either a new Mario game or a remake of a Mario game comes out.
We will most likely have a Nintendo Direct in June which focuses on 1st party games. It will most likely be the last direct to focus on 1st party games for Nintendo Switch before moving over to next console. If we get another Mario game on Switch, the only games i could see happening is either another Mario Party game or Mario & Sonic at the olympic games Paris 2024, for Mario remakes it could literally be anything

I think we’ll get a direct in the June time slot to announce the rest of 2024. They have the lineup announced already until then so they don’t need anything until then.

I would wholeheartedly expect a Direct within the next three weeks, as well as getting a roadmap to at least the tease, reveal, and potential launch timeline of Switch 2. So Direct by May 10, 2024. That’ll cover the remainder of both calendar year and fiscal year for Nintendo Switch. Switch 2 Teaser Trailer as part of Summer Game Fest in June. September Direct being the full blowout reveal of Switch 2. Launch of Switch 2 between January and March.
As I said before many times, WAIT patiently. I can GUARANTEE, however, that Nintendo is going to wait until June (which is obviously 2 months away now) to do the general Nintendo Direct.
It's high time that some of these hardcore dedicated Nintendo fans (Mainly, the ones who refuse to play any third-party or indie games) to accept that Partner Showcases are still Nintendo Directs regardless.

my guess is that we are getting another partner showcase on june and the swicth 2 reveal presentation late november/early december
That seems a bit late. I think they have to have a reveal before Black Friday. They'll want people to skip/save up for Switch 2 in early 2025 rather than splurge on their competitors during the Holiday season, so they'll need to start the marketing before everyone starts their Holiday shopping. I'd bet more on September/October really. They might be able to get away with early to mid November, but that's pretty much the latest they could get away with.
I heard that the reason why we haven't been getting any Directs is because Nintendo's working on games for the Switch 2. That BETTER be the reason why!

What I don't get is, how can he make so many videos of the same thing? Yes, we "need" a Nintendo Direct. But how is this any different to the 30 other "Nintendo Direct SOON?" videos? There's only so many times you can say "There are only 2 Nintendo games coming this year", "Nothing else has been announced for this year", "Princess Peach Showtime was the last brand new Nintendo game released this year so far, and there's nothing new at all confirmed this year", "Nintendo's 2024 is messed up", etc.

I dont understand this frantic behavior almost every Nintendo youtubers been on for the last 6+ months. In September everyone was saying how tired they were of the switch and how the new console needs to hurry up, but now that the lull has set in and its become clear nintendo is getting ready for just that those same CCs are going insane begging for more switch games and complaining about how little this year has. We are not entitled to Nintendo games or news and they don’t need to reveal stuff because of our impatience or logic. Nintendo can just troll us and make the next hardware available to everywhere except the U.S like they did with some games and accessories. Nintendo makes weird choices and commonly ignores logic and it’s also a Japanese company, so their business structure is 100% gonna have differences compared to American companies.
Everyone just needs patience and also the play or finish the games they already bought.

First there was Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, second Pokémon Presents and third in today Indie World Showcase what really impressed me with my the most Expected Indie Game Little Kitty, in Big City and a big surprise TMNT Splintered Fate what's Apple Arcade game and gladly it's coming to Switch, Yars Rising, Anton Blast and Europa got my interested too defienitily Yars Rising and Europa. I believe there is still hope for a Nintendo Direct coming soon, but not that quickly in this april, the Next Nintendo Direct what might be Nintendo's own first livestream Direct is coming until june and I can wait for it, because there was that amazing Indie World Showcase today. Things what I hope to see from the Next Nintendo Direct are Super Mario Galaxy 2 Remake/Port or The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD Ports and a new Donkey Kong game, it's hard to believe there haven't been a new Donkey Kong game over a 6 years of DK Country Tropical Freeze and a 10 years of the Original Wii U version what I have. I've been heard Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is coming to Switch and that would be so awesome, because I don't have that game on a Wii U and haven't never played it. Kirby Robobot Planet 1 of the Best Kirby game after my favourite Triple Deluxe would be nice to see coming to Switch too. Oh man it's so best to be a Nintendo fan and the Switch owner. 😊❤
