This! I get there's nothing to talk about Nintendo wise and they have to release content, but man a lot of CZcamsrs are scrapping for content.
He could've just made a video of the recent news/leaks of Spyro 4: Mystery of the Dragon which is rumored io be announced sometime this month, with a Q4 2024 release date, which would be sometime between October 2024 and December 2024 and associate it to the purple pixel and fireball leak and how everyone got that wrong a few months ago associating it to Penny when in reality it was actually a leak for a new Spyro.

It's not just this bro, about 10 Nintendo CZcamsrs are making the same 10-15minute videos multiple times. All doing the same fake talking points about no Nintendo news whatsoever, so they make-up about re-masters of old games, April Directs, Prime 4, etc and repeat the exact same talking points over and over.
The funniest is how for months they made rumours out of no info about the next Pokemon game being Gen 2 or 5 and then it was Gen 6 related. The grifters not only invent fake rumours, but they even convince themselves they are true after they grifted and grinded out those daily videos, repeating the same things over and over.

I mean honestly the Switch doesn’t need a lot of hype for me. I have a list of games I have yet to play or finish. Peach, Sonic Superstars, Violet, Kirby’s Return Deluxe, Octopath Traveler II, and Mario RPG. Plus Paper Mario coming in a month. Who needs hype? It’s all here for me!
CZcamsrs need to grind out that daily watch time. This isn't about Gamers, it's about CZcamsrs needing to grift.
I mean, I can see a Nintendo Direct in the next two week, but even then I'm more interested in cleanup on things like release dates for Decapolice, Professor Layton, and On Your Tail.
Like I admit that Paper Mario in May was surprisingly early in my book, but I'm not desperate for any new-new titles to be announced other than wondering what will happen for the November-December track.
Though I will admit that seeing an announcement of Dragon Quests 4-10 being ported onto modern consoles as a tribute to Akira Toriyama's work might be nice, even with the immediate release of Sandland.
Have the feeling that some Nintendo fans are insatiable. We got Another Code, Mario vs Donkey and Princess Peach in the first three months of this year and Endless Ocean, Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion are just around the corner. Tell me another comapny that releases that many exclusive games on their consoles.
None of those games compare to a Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Zelda, Star Fox, Metroid, F-Zero game. Nintendo hasn't made any new major IP's either for over a decade.

Nintendo used to pump out classics every month. Now we're lucky if we get 1 major IP a year. They don't make new IP's anymore. Last one was Arms and it kinda sucks. It's been over a decade they made a new franchise and they're sleeping on so many of their franchises.

It is not possible to bring major titles every month since the cost of developemnt got way higher than 10 to 20 years ago. and we got a lot of new IPs in the Switch era like Ring Fit Adventure, Labo, Game Builder Garage. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean there are not worth to mention.
And did you even realise what a great year 2023 was? We had a new Zelda, a new 2D Mario, Pikmin 4, a new Fire Emblem, Super Mario RPG, Bayonetta Origins, Advance Wars, Metroid Prime, Octopath Traveler 2, Wario Ware and so on, so what are you talking about? How is it possible that people always want more and can't chill out. Other consoles would love to have that great of a lineup. As I said in my first post, Nintendo fans are insatiable.

Endless Ocean fans stay winning
It’s pretty funny how desperate this guy is for a mere sliver of information on a new game lmao. I mean, I would prefer we had more to look forward to with Nintendo right now too, but we all have a life outside of this. It’s one thing for gaming news to make your day, but it should never ruin your day. Plus, I just got a Steam Deck last week because there’s too many games that didn’t make it to the Switch that you can play on the Steam Deck. Persona 3 Reload, old 3D Sonic games, the list goes on and on.

@@QnjtGWonQNqVsbYyzjx4 2020 was affected by the pandemic and a lot had to be moved back to accommodate the new working conditions. As for 2023, that's a fair point most of the stuff released was DLC or smaller games besides ToTK.
@@noobstoise1024 the switch certainly is at its later stage, but we don’t know when it will truly end. I think if they really want, they can have switch successor in 2028. I actually think a switch pro can still happen, with the chip shortage gone, the majority just ready for a power bump and it’s 4 years after the animal crossing boom(just like ps4 pro 4 years after launch)

I don't know why you're impatient. Nintendo has been doing great and a couple of months not having a schedule for the year isn't going to destroy the company. As a matter of fact I bought Samba De Amigo and Prince of Persia and got plenty of games backlogged for the switch along with indies like penny and Freedom Planet 2. Next month is big for people wanting Paper Mario and even the lesser title Luigi's Mansion so it's fine the big N is taking their time.
What about Endless Ocean?
Endless ocean is kinda niche in comparison to other franchises, even the ones getting remakes currently. Not saying its bad at all, but for a lot of people its not really a thing they'll pick up.

Yeah I feel like the community is underselling this because it’s just a remake. But it’s far more significant and has a lot of content to showcase. But it’s also not out yet so.. maybe too soon for the hype.

I needed this breather year to actually get to play all the games! Coming from a general games enthusiast who loves playing everything and prefers nintendo- TTYD is the most hype thing in ALL of 2024
I kind of like how not a lot of Switch 2 stuff has gotten leaked. I want to be surprised about the games that are going to launch on the Switch 2. I honestly think the best thing Nintendo can do is just fill this year with a bunch of ports. Don’t need to release anything big on a console that’s about to be replaced next year.
I think Switch 2 will have Metroid Prime 4 at or close to launch, they may try to recreate what happened with Zelda Breath of the Wild.

Honestly, Peach Showtime already made the year for me. I was hyped about it for months and playing it surpassed my expectations. That said, I'm sure we'll get plenty of more games this year; everyone was freaking out around this time last year about how Nintendo barely had any games also.

2023 was like this like all we had was Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4 and after that June direct we saw how the rest of the year was going to be like with tons of new releases. But the year with a new Peach game and a remake of Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door in the first half of the year?That’s when you’ve had enough with Nintendo not announcing the next console.

I’m looking on the bright side of this. Because of how bone-dry things have been, it means that they are probably saving up for something MASSIVE. Whether it be new games or a new console. I keep thinking of that new console and how much fun it will be to play on something totally new and fresh. I mean it’s been 8 STINKIN YEARS. They have to be cooking something big. The next console is the last thing I'm worried about with all this going on. Without Reggie and Iwata, I'm not comforted. It's like knowing the only reason you visit relatives is because your cool uncle will be there and hang out, but was killed in an accident and nobody else changed.. still just as condescending or sarcastic as ever. I'm not ready for fun with Nintendo.
