Man I’m so excited for dark moon HD, I heard the haunted towers theme somewhere, and I was so surprised how different it was.
Don’t worry I think Nintendo has a lot more games up there sleeve for the 2nd half of this year that they haven’t announced yet. Like you said I think we will get quite a few more ports and remasters but I think they still have 1 or 2 more brand new games coming and one of those will be the holiday game. I think a general direct is coming soon and we’re not quite done with the switch yet😊
Remember that Pokémon Legends Z-A is slated for 2025 on the Switch, and I don’t think Pokémon has ever done a cross-Gen game (apart from the very first Mystery Dungeon, if that counts). So very likely we’ll get a general Direct during E3 season (and yes, I’ll still refer to it as such until a new event arises).
I'm just hyped to see what paper mario ttyd has in store for a remaster. It's gonna be fun. Hope next we get super paper mario

It seems CZcams is all about the next new game, the next experience you can't miss. Yet I am so grateful for this amazing console. The catalog is so large I can't fathom racing out to get the next new thing.
Take the time with games and enjoy the large amount of games in our backlogs, there are many amazing experiences still to be had on this console.
Some people don’t have backlogs and the games they do have on switch are definitely feeling it’s age by now lol Nintendos first party stuff as a whole has been phenomenal and they know how to stretch every bit of that consoles capabilities but 3rd parties are seriously having trouble by now. I love my OLED model I bought it on launch but I can’t say I’m not experiencing the new console anticipation.

I’ve already got the first free Nintendo games of this year for switch and let’s not assume that Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and TTYD is the final Nintendo published Switch games, Nintendo has got some stuff cooking but carry on assuming that these are the last 2 games, we still have Metroid Prime 4 to come and some other games we don’t know about which i agree will be ports and remasters. I think the next direct will not be until after the next fiscal update from Nintendo.
I think PM TYD and LM2 will be featured in Mario Run.
3:54 I think switch 2 will be announced in December and have a release date of May 2025. It'd just make sense.

When it comes to Zelda games I ain't played any in a very long time and I don't remember if I ever played any of them even halfway though and the only Zelda games I remember playing is the first game, OOT 3DS, WW, S.T but I like it the times Darby of Blue Television Games plays a little bit of the first game if it shows up in his Tuesdays streams of lots of classic games from lots of classic video games systems suggested by lots of people in the chat.
My birthday is in April so if they made a Nintendo switch 2 showcase that would be a crazy present
ports are safe and use less resources. and if the next console is backwards compatible they can still sell them so they are even more worth their time to produce

Legends Z-A for 2025 but no in-game footage was shown. Meaning its a Switch 2 game.

We got a Live edition and a Classic edition last year, but the latter’s a *board game,* so we probably shouldn’t look at it as part of the *video game* franchise. Other than that, the presentation only showed updates and collaborations for existing games.

I’m just hoping we hear something for Donkey Kong soon, if it turns out we don’t have either a mini or general direct, I will just say it, Nintendo would seriously be doing DK dirty this year, I suppose it doesn’t matter to them right now that it’s been 30 years since OG DK Country and 10 years since Tropical Freeze. All this propping with his area in that Nintendo park being constructed, playing a prominent role in the Mario bros movie, and recently getting Mario Vs. DK, I would think Nintendo has no reason to hold back at least giving us a remake of the first DK Country and dropping DK64 to NSO. At least that would suffice as a part one to paying homage for 30 years of Donkey Kong.
In terms of the two remakes, after the fateful day two months from now, I'm gonna do my best cartoon K. Rool impression and say "And then there was one...".
P.S.: I'm seriously waiting for a Fortune Street remake on Switch adding more characters like Rosalina, Great Sabrecat, the Koopalings, Veronica, Jade, King Boo, and more, as well as new Venture Card summons like Rocksy (a rockbomb who causes price increases on already-purchased properties, similar to Lakitu), Poplin (who causes already-purchased properties to charge a 100g flat rate, again similar to Lakitu), and Gold Goomba (who gives the player who owns any shop it lands on the amount shown, similar to Goodybag). That, and both the Dragon Quest equivalents of Memory Block and Dart of Gold and the Mario equivalent of the Slurpodrome with Red Yoshi, Blue Yoshi, Yellow Yoshi, Light Blue Yoshi, and Pink Yoshi in place of the Slime variants and an arrangement of Slider from Super Mario 64 when the race happens.

For Paper Mario TTYD remake/Luigi's Mansion I won't get either of them because we need to save money for important things and we don't live/usually don't go near a store that sells games and I don't cae about Luigi's Mansion but if GameXplain does a full game streamed playthrough playlist of Paper Mario: TTYD remake I'll watch it before Derrick Bitnerd left GameXplain and took his playlists to his YT channel Bitnerd Games he streamed every Paper Mario game and I still watch his playlists of 64, TTYD, CS 'that's what I'm doing right now' and Andre Segers of GameXplain streamed Sticker Star I still watch it when I watch Derricks playlists I don't watch Derricks SS playlist because he hated that game.
They should more Switch news for 2024 and The Mario movie might have a video game tie-in for the switch or the next system and TT games is working on a game based on a major ip and the Mario movie game could be it.
