GOTTA melt the cheesE dumbo
It doesn’t come melted, I ate one for Fathers Day. They don’t steam the cheese
@@WhatsForDinner1 I worked for Big Boys Restaurants for over 30 years; the cheese most definitely is melted. Also, the Super BB called for two 1/4# patties AND two slices of cheese; this was back in the 1980s and 1990s when BB was still operating in our district.
Why would you call him a dumbo? Asshole!

That looked good. Great looking burgers with a nice sear. I had one tonight at Frisch's and it did have lettuce on the bottom as well as the middle. When I get home, I'll have to give it a try. Thank you.
I noticed the buckeye leaves on your van! O-H! 💪
In Michigan, the mufflims bought all the remaining ELIAS Bros. through the 90s....and ran them into the ground. And It's the awesome thousand island big boy sauce here...."was"..
My sandwich was awesome! Thanks for the vid!
Thousand Island is the sauce used, not tartar sauce.
Incorrect Bobs big boy is a Heinz type of sauce cocktail & something else. Frisch’s Big Boy is tartar sauce I used their sauce bought from their store.
I'm like it ,share& save this thank you...
I gotta try this...Luv Luv Luv my Super Big Boys❣️❣️
May need to remember this recipe as a lot of the Big Boy's around me have been closing down....
did the inventor of the big mac copy from the big boy?
Excellent Burger 🍔
I'm making this tonight for dinner.
We moved to Portland, In. We don't have a Frisch's here so thank you very much.
Now I feel like I'm back home.lol
Thank you Brenda!
If y'all wanna try this without cooking it yourself go to Mc Donalds and ask for tarter sauce instead of mac sauce . I think it's better then the original .
Frisch’s meat is far superior to McDonald’s. However I want a Big Mac with two quarter pounders Pattie’s !
@@WhatsForDinner1 Go for it it's so good and they put more on then Frich's .
Pro tip: add cheese to melt while burger is on flat top; also can be used to toast/warm buns....nice job!
Delicious
Thank You!
These look BETTER than the ones you get at the restaurant... definitely going to try them along with Crouton Crackerjack's onion ring recipe... subscribed.
In my town they are great! Super fast... I buy the tarter sauce at the store they are better making them at home & cheaper!
The big boys I've gone to have an orange colored sauce
Yeah west coast, east coast uses what I used. Big boy sauce from Frisch’s Big Boy. That’s what I used.
Living in North East Ohio we have 2 Bob's Big Boys in Cleveland and Frisch's Big Boy on west side of Ohio Big Boy Burgers are slightly different but not to different. now interestingly Bob's Big Boy in Cleveland they still use the Manners Big Boy Tartar sauce (Ohio Sauce) exclusive to the 2 Cleveland restaurants that are part of Big Boy International not associated with Frisch's Big Boy at all. Now if you go to a Bob's Big Boy in California use Bobs original recipe for there big boy sauce and Michigan they use there version of 1000 island sauce similar to a Big Mac sauce Frisch's Big Boy uses there tartar sauce for the Big Boy sauce not quite the same as Clevelands.
Alot of people never realize how different the sauces are until they get other by accident lol me in Michigan learned really quick that I have to ask for Ohio Sauce up there or people will be like me when they get Michigan sauce and be like this is not what I wanted lol my server was great she realized I was from Ohio and had my Big Boy remade with Ohio sauce didn't even have too ask she said remember if your in Michigan make sure to ask for Ohio sauce.
Thanks wm3293
@What's For Dinner? sorry didn't realize I left my whole life's big boys documentary there lol I love Big Boy and will eat there when ever I get the chance I only live 20 minutes from Valley View Ohio location in Cleveland Ohio
It’s fine I’m glad you took the time thanks again!
@What's For Dinner? your welcome I'm going to Valley View Big Boy right now lol time to crush into a delicious Big Boy Burger 🍔 😋
I have made homemade Frisch’s Big Boys at home. (I live in Cincinnati, where Frisch’s is from). I have always been disappointed. Something was different. After about three years now, I’m pretty sure it’s the bun. Frisch’s buns have some kind of super flavor. Commercial burger buns do not have that extra-nice flavor (even the name-brand ones).
McDonald’s buns are quite flavorful too. Commercial buns are Ok., but they’re not the same. Frisch’s Big Boy and McDonald’s Big Mac sandwiches are not bland. My homemade versions of Frisch’s are always bland. I just wished I bought the Big Boy, instead. I like it so much.
They have more sugar and more gluten, for starters.
I just had one outside of Cincinnati. Very good.
I was sure it had red relish not tartar sauce also melted cheese but whatever makes it better I guess?
Red relish is bobs big boy west coast, Frisch’s Big Boy uses tarter sauce like the can of sauce I bought from them in the video. They lay the cheese on the burger after cooking the Pattie’s. Again I just bought one yesterday do your research people before leaving a comment.
I thought it had like a red chili looking sauce and deal relish
The west coast version does, no tarter sauce. Bobs big boy this Frisch’s Big Boy same company they merged a long time ago.
I swear they had onions 😏
Not Frisch’s Big Boy, maybe Bobs Big Boy but I’ve never had it!
@@WhatsForDinner1 I always eat them all the time also slim jim and banana cream pie from Bobs Big Boy but after the pandemic big boy is totally closed now sad to say 😪
I didn’t know that. The Frisch’s Big Boy down the street is still open. I know a long time ago they merged. Frisch’s Big Boy being east coast & Bobs being west coast. They both have always had different menus.
@@WhatsForDinner1 well i just drive by its closed for good but it does not say Frisch’s but i know it had bob's years ago but it was removed to only BIG BOY but still have the BIG BOY statue with the white & red checker with a burger on top i'm from BC Michigan there was only 2 but now only 1 left that i can see but everything is going out theses' days
I gotcha a watched a video on YT years ago and it was about a big boy closing in Michigan but prob not your big boy. They had a grand reopening of the one here a few years ago. And during Covid they didn’t have a buffet which was the draw to this one. They have opened the buffet back up. They have a hard time keeping workers here. But the whole restaurant industry has really suffered through the pandemic. I was working in a restaurant when it hit. But I continued till mid 2020. When I quit and started my own business. The company I worked since changed its hours. They close at 9 o’clock everyday except weekends and of coarse open later too.
Too much HAND getting in the way of the camera. You need to practice / get some training sessions shooting videos without preventing your HAND from seeing what you want your viewers to see.
