Ya, it seems to work pretty good. The hardest part is making sure the strap around your boot is good and secure.

I am curious about how it would work in a bit of sand. Getting from the parking lot to the beach can be a long walk through sand at times.

I guess that all depends on how soft the sand is. Last summer I used it on the beach at Lake Of Two Rivers campground in Algonquin Park and had no problem, but that sand was pretty firm and stable.

Does this work with your Tarpon 100?

I haven’t actually tried it on my Tarpon 100, as I have dedicated wheels for that particular kayak (they slide into the scupper holes) but I use it on my Pelican kayak and with canoes. I think it will work on almost any kayak/kayak as long as you can ‘tie’ it around the hull.
