    Still can't believe Seiko discontinued these extremely popular models. Just to introduce similar ones with those ugly number 5s on the dials. Good luck finding a used SKX007 or 009 in great condition at anything remotely approaching reasonable prices.

      I've been keeping an eye on the New-Old Stock SKXs for sale on eBay and the prices are insane. I'm assuming they'll bring it back as a special or limited edition some time in the future, but they'll probably charge like $600 for it :/

      Sadly, forced to agree with you. Wondering how many individuals with customized SKX007s and 009s have swapped the original parts back onto their watches, just to toss them up on eBay with HUGE premiums.

    The 015 is the pepsi version of the 013 so they do have the smaller pepsi style. I found a few pre owned floating around but be careful of good mods, these are much more rare than the 013's. Oh, and they also have it in the porange dial which is the 017, i think.

      Finding a genuine SKX015 seems very difficult especially with how common mods are and the potential price premium that a seller could get seeing as how these models are rare.

    What's your wrist size?

    The SKX009 on the rubber strap is the Japanese model reference as is says 21 jewels on the dial, the other SKX009 is the Malaysian built version. If your interested for collecting purposes. They use fitting rings for larger references there is often no difference in size of movement even across brands unless the watch itself is specifically built for the movement or it’s a Manufacture movement.
    The SKX is a great discontinued reference.🤘😎

      Yep, that's correct. I didn't delve into the K or J versions as the cases are exactly the same. Great info regarding the movement rings!

    What's your wrist size so we can have a point of reference to compare to ourselves of whether or not we decide to buy the 38mm or the 42.5mm?

      Measuring over the wrist bone, my wrist is 7 inches in circumference.

    Don't understand this video. A plain review of watches that aren't produced anymore? And were reviewed in the past over and over again. Modified or not...
    Or is this a review from the past🤔

      @Bespokeunit  Před 2 lety +1

      It's a head-to-head comparison of the OEM SKX case sizes. There may be many reviews like it out there, but this one is mine.
