Lemon stories! When I was a kid, my grandmother made the best lemonade. Barely sweet, thirst quenching and made from lemons the family grew. One of her favorite uses for lemon was her cheesecake.
She'd make a graham cracker crumb crust and pour the cheesecake batter in it. At about 45 minutes, she'd pull it out and put it on the top of the stove. In a bowl she took a pound container of sour cream and some of her concentrated lemon juice and a few spoons of sugar. She mixed that and then poured it on top of the cheesecake and put it back in the oven. Once done, you had to let it cool to room temperature and then put it in the fridge so it got cold before dinner.
I love lemons which is helpful because I consistently create kidney stones due to other illnesses and because of my damaged venous system any laser treatment and surgery is no longer an option as I'll bleed out. I currently have two 15mm and growing stones in my right kidney which will eventually kill the kidney due to size. I think your grandmothers lemonade would be perfect for me. Do you happen to have the recipe? I totally understand if it's a special family only recipe. Lemons are up to $20 (US$14 approximately) a kilo in my country in the off system. I take time to peel take only the peel off and dehydrate it then turn it into a powder for cooking and baking. I juice the lemons and freeze the juice so that I have a good source over the off season. I do also buy a product that is only lemon juice but it doesn't have the same tartness I like. I finally have a backyard so I intend to plant lemon trees. I didn't mean to tell you my life story.

our small lemon tree in El Monte provides the entire neighborhood with free lemons, almost year around. Blossoms, immature, and mature fruit are always on the tree at the same time! Right at the end of our road is a certified organic feed and fertilizer place. we actually outlives the first tree, planted in the 1930's, and then replanted forty years ago. Still and stay strong, lemon tree.

I feel like those lemons beaten off the trees, dumped in the factory and going thru all the washing, drying, riding on one belt after the other must have PTSD by the time they make it to their final destination.

I've watched a few of these videos and I'm starting to wonder if the narrator is an AI voice. There's just something off about it and the way the scripts are written. In all of the videos there is a strange disconnect between the narration and what's actually happening in the video.
