I am fascinated by the device that inspects and separates each apple individually.
High standard of quality, but I have to add my point about people
being extremely sensitive to the very appearance of a product.
For example,
not long ago in the grocery store,
in the vegetable department,
a gentleman was outraged by a slightly wilted salad that was discounted because of its appearance.
He tossed the salad back and remarked that he wasn't going to eat that crap.
How subtle some people are.
I remembered the period when I had nothing to eat.
This person has clearly never been hungry in their life.
You cut vegetables or fruits and eat what is edible. How hard is that...
P.s.: If lettuce is slightly wilted, put it in the water for an hour and it will return to it's previous state. Fresh and crunchy.
