It's almost not fair how much fun this guy has! Killing it !
Like the no paddling aspect. Great work turning with just a thin hard edge and no fins. I could see a set of spring loaded fins flush with the bottom like old airplane wheels that you could stomp to activate, taking performance to an even higher level. So jealous that all we were smart enough to come up with in the 60's was a round marine plywood skimboard we made ourselves. Also helps to have the Wedge. Great job guys on pushing the sport.

S turns and tubes, this guy is surfing well. I surfed for 35 years, and this kind of shore pound can break your neck if your unlucky and the wipeouts put sand in your ears. Total respect for this young guy. He rips.

3:11 sick barrel
I bought a skimboard for $2 from the recycle centre at the local tip. Tried it twice, nearly broke my leg. Left it standing on the beach with FREE SKIMBOARD sign written in the sand in front of it. It was gone the next day. Who ever got it ENJOY.

in coffs harbour plenty of people skimboard. plenty of nice shories to hit up there. its pretty common in northern nsw on any beach with a gutter really

I have only recently been exposed to skimming. Thx @CZcams ! I had no idea that it was a form of surfing and what was possible. I think less is more nowadays, and I really enjoy how these waves are milked and finessed. Are there any women who flow like this?
I always thought skimboarders were mostly just young kids who wanted to surf but were afraid of the ocean. These skimboarders surf a wave better than a lot of surfers Ive seen. Whatever floats your boat. These guys rip!
