Thank you so much! I have been trying to figure this out for years. I have used scissors and the seam ripper but I want to try it with the tool.

Honestly love this method with scraping with a seam ripper. Ive gotten very fast with doing both horizontal and vertical hand removal of the threads but its a lot less natural looking than this where you can create more shapes. Tysm 🎉

Wowwww dude i make clothes as well alot of diy and deconstruction/reconstruction and i own a dremmel and have for years now but until i saw this video I wasn’t using it right from the positioning of the dremmel to the using the seam ripper , i held the dremmel like a stick lmao and i guess that’s why i had so many holes and i still couldn’t get the vertical threads out because i wasn’t using the seam ripper now i know wowwww you deserve a sub man and a ig follow

If anything when I do a whole pair of jeans it might take me an hour and I'll do maybe three or four spots on each leg on the front and on the back and I use paint takes maybe an hour and I use scissors and tweezers but now I see the Dremel I got to try that thank you

tbh i just randomly come across pictures of someone wearing jeans that catches my attention and just recreate them since theyre usually too expensive for me to buy. do you have a specific pair from those brands you want me to try to recreate? lmk!
also ive kinda used paint before! mainly for shoes tho but theres a denim project i plan to make that requires paint so maybe coming soon haha
