I watched this quite a few times and took a lot of screen shots. These are the details: Cut 24 squares 11x11 cm. For rhe bottom of the bag, cut a rectangle 38x11 cm. Sew two blocks 3 squares by 4 squares. Then sew each block to the 38x11 rectangle I didnt screenshot the rest, but maybe itnwill be eqsier to figure out if you know the measurements.
Bag is cute, but this tutorial is WAY too fast. I watched the beginning several times to try and see what size squares were being used. Also tried freezing the video so I’d have time to see the size. Finally just gave up and looked for a different tutorial.
This should not have been put into a Short if we have to flip our phones sideways. And it goes to fast. Not every video someone does will turn out ok if they just speed it up and put it into a Short. This is why folks do 2 or 3 parts to break down a video if they want to put one into a Short, and sometimes a video is better left off never being made into a Short.

It was probably starch. I'm assuming that it is so the fabric stays in place.
