- The new WRX Is finally on the road and I'm super excited about it!! We welded up the "Cracked" down pipe, and it sounds like a new exhaust has been installed.. we did our best to paint match the fender LOL, and did a few other extras like restoring the 17 year old headlights! I'm very excited to finally start driving this car, and it's time to get to work on the car!

After such a long break, I really thought you'd slowly ease back into content creation. Gotta say, I love seeing you dive head first into a project to deliver us another high quality video. It really does look like your passions been reinvigorated. So glad to have you back and can't wait to see what the future holds!
Pro tip always let your spray cans sit in warm water for about 5-10 minutes before spraying it will give you a much smoother spray pattern with less chunky bits in it. Still a great video glad you're back man keep up the great work.

Robbie shows and proves to us all not to be intimidated when it comes to doing any work in regards to our own vehicles. Sure there's different learning curves for all of us along the way but without them we'd never learn and prefect our craft. Big ups to Robbie for inspiring everyone to try something new, modify our cars with that new part we want, and DIY our own builds!

So, lots of good advice as always in the comment section. I'll just add that you can also dust in a metallic, even with a spray can, but always, always, give yourself a wider area for a burn in on paint. I've painted for years, and it's always awesome to see someone picking up the trades. Keep it going man. Peace out!!

Bro I respect the new mindset you’ve come back with I wasn’t an avid watcher but I found you through wide bodying the 86 and the way your approaching with full transparency even with yourself is showing and it comes off so much better because even people like tj hunt has always said you maybe asking yourself wow this person knows how to do certain really cool things and he always said no but you can learn with me through the process I’m telling you being fully transparent is gonna pay off and you have a new dedicated viewer out of me

Hey Robbie, one thing I always did while painting during New England winter - keep the paint in a pitcher of warm water between coats. I find it helps with the chunking - nicer paint helps too 😝

I'm so happy to see Robbie back, been following you for so long and when you posted your S10 content, I been following that very closely and even helped me to work on my late grandfather's 1985 Chevy S10 and I couldn't source parts and I had no clue of what to do and now I'm going to a career center for auto collision and planning of attending another trade school for mechanical work on cars and just see where I go in life

Run your paint can in hot water give it a shake and repeat and you won't get the chunks man! Im so glad you're back been watching you forever!

Welcome back Robbie. Just a tip for you... With it being so cold there it would probably help to stick your paint cans in warm water and then they wont spit and sputter.
One of the best ways to learn to plant cars is pick up a door panel from a junkyard or something and keep paint it and sanding it off and paint again

Next time, try getting like a card on a stick, and spray the same color, and compare it to the car, and you’ll know how many coats you need to match the paint. And also, use body lines to hide new paint transitions, and paint over the existing paint after lightly sanding it. Make sure the existing paint is not glossy anymore. Water also sands the car faster, and 2k clear is better. Those are my tips. Love the videos

I would DIY the aero/body kit stuff, I remember bending the rear diffuser for the BRZ was my favorite accessory and transformed the car amazingly

Love to see the vids back, especially with my dream car. My friends always laugh when I say that's my dream car because they all want supercars but subaru has always been my dream daily. Every time I see one driving by I get a burst of joy and wish I had my own, due to my circumstances I probably never will but I get that same joy watching builds like this and can only dream to have my own some day. I had the dealership install an STI front lip on my BRZ and they used a smorgasbord of hardware; it hurt my soul. I had to fix it so I didn't have an aneurism. I ended up using M5 rubber well nuts and they are literally the most perfect thing for installing those. Also, super glad to be sitting here watching one of your videos. Welcome back!
