    Replica builds have more of a story than "Out of the box". Like the color choices and nostalgia and a few Preiser figures. Great work, cheers Eh!

      Thanks Gordon, didn't know about the figures, they had a few of them loose in a box at the hobby store. I googled the name you used and saw they are for train layouts.

      Preiser is a German Mfg. of many scales of figures. You can find the same figures as you have scaled down to 1:87 HO. The 1:24 scale works well for the garden scale rail hobbyists. Hot tooling the hair will add easy detail. I also have some 1:24 scale Prussians, (Frederick the Great era) and Adam and Eve sets, well detailed. Also check out Masterbox for 1:24 scale figure kits. ICM makes a 3 figure set of Henry Ford, a mechanic and friend. Cheers.

  • @JohnPol
    @JohnPol Před 6 lety

    It turn out great I don`t know how you guys get good results with the folk art paint still playing with it

    • @ModelCarMinion
      @ModelCarMinion  Před 6 lety

      Thanks John, should have thinned it a bit more, still a little texture in the finish. Takes practice and playing with the mix and air pressure, I find about 55% future 45% acrylic craft paint and 28-30 psi with the Paasche H airbrush works pretty well. The Aztec paints are airbrush ready and available at Michaels, they give a good idea of the thinness of the paint. I also use badger primer first.

    • @JohnPol
      @JohnPol Před 6 lety

      I find when I use the cup it goes on better I also use the paasche H
