  • I partook in a stacked osu!mania tournament over the last few months, and I decided to document everything, along with my honest thoughts throughout. It was a stressful experience given my discomfort with the game compared to Etterna, but it definitely taught me a bit moving forward and I had a blast competing with everyone during the actual matches.
    Big thanks to everyone who worked on the tournament and cooperated with my tilted-ness at times lmao. And of course, huge shoutouts to Toaph for being the homie and teaming with me through it all and just being a chill guy overall: osu.ppy.sh/users/7616811

Also, kinda refreshing to see an honest and straightforward showing of all the ups and downs that come along with these kind of events. • @Patashu
    @Patashu Před 3 lety +2

    Interesting to see how so much of it comes down to exploiting strengths and weaknesses in different people's skillsets, because even the best players in the world are certain kinds of good. Especially interesting that the song set is dependent on how far into the tournament you are - I've seen rhythm game tournaments that do it and tournaments that don't, and it has a huge impact on who can win at different points. Very informative and entertaining video!

    I am starting out with 2 taiko tournaments, Taiko Tournament Mexico and Intermediate Global Taiko Showdown.
    I just lost the first one out of nerves when I could recover at last game, I just joined the tournaments to make the goal to myself to beat nerves in general.
    After watching this is a certain relief and inspiration to find a different aproach to these tournaments as it boils down to accuracy which is merely what I dont have.

    As for osu!lazer, anything goes including notelock (which should already be improved), so feel make a list, but I’ll dedicate some personal time into attempting to make any two top suggestions possible for osu!stable, time permissible of course.
