Score Progression: Through The Fire and Flames

  • There's quite a few things I wanna say regarding making this video.
(Besides the fact that my thumbnail might not update)
The Clone Hero video I made this before this was to give a very subtle hint to my subscribers at what was to come, perhaps too subtle haha. This video was originally inspired by Randy's 150% FC of the song. It hit me out of nowhere that I could do something brand new for once and challenge myself to make a score progression video on a game I've known about for a while, but didn't quite know every little detail of. Little did I know, I would be digging through hundreds of Scorehero threads finding stuff I never thought I would find and the result would be just over the 40-minute barrier. This video has been more or less done for a few weeks now (With some minor polishing) but I wanted to wait until I was 1. Comfortable enough to post it, and 2. To wait until people were done with college so they weren't distracted by a 40-minute video lol. I had a ton of fun making this and I can't wait to see what else I can dig about this game that I might not have known before.
I've been gathering sources for various other videos I want to make about not just this game, but other games as well but I can assure you I have another one in the works for this game!
Big thanks to Randyladyman, Darkly, Hellashes, Razzy, Snover, Brighton, and some of my friends back home for giving me the A-okay on this video Your input motivated me to go through with this project since Mid-August and I highly appreciate you all checking it out.

It now matches the GH3 engine, BUT the CH engine also allows you to collect Star Power while SP is activated, which isn't possible in GH3. Because of this, it's possible to gain more SP in CH and maintain a higher average multiplier.

Covering just the one chart in the one game barely scratches the surface of the insane feats people have achieved on this song, though I will admit, as the most popular chart with the most hacks done to it, this video does cover a lot of them. But I'd love to see an update to goes even deeper.

Grate video, sub for sure, I love it.
I never played guitar hero and have no idea how hard this exactly is, since I don't know how gh controls, but dedication and skill of these people is just insane. It always amazes me how much someone can do if he truly loves what he is doing, even if it's kinda pointless after all

Very well done. This video got me geeked out because I was there on scorehero when Chris was making his progress. I participated in debates on whether it was possible to FC. My high score on this song is 754k, which I’m humbled to know at one point would’ve gotten me some attention.
Randy was also able to FC this song one-handed, and I find it interesting that Chris was able to get expert FCed before the hard chart had even been FCed.

What i find absolutely mind boggling is the fact that as a kid, when the game was still full circle, i was showing my friends 85-92%ish pictures, never did i know that if i were to upload it to the internet i would be on those lists, kinda crazy that i only ever practiced this song repeatedly for my entertainment less than others. nowadays, anything goes as long as you get on the scoreboard.
