Yep, it is an MGL Odyssey. I have 2 RDAC's connected to it, and could almost use just 1, except I needed dual tach inputs for the rotor and engine independently. I have on it all the gearbox temperatures, 2 rpms, oil pressures, fuel pressure, fuel flow rate, fuel level, and then of course the avionics and comms. It required setting up custom screens and programming all the inputs, but it works great for the T62 once those are set up.
@@codmott286 Yes, there are u-joints in that shaft. Two of them inside the engine bay from jack shaft into the first bearing cup in the tail boom. I also added another u-joint at the end of the tail in case there was any misalignment or flex in the tail boom.
It looks great. Goog job. Thank You for sharing . Chris
I wish I have a neighbor like you
Looks good ! and sounds awesome
I’m about 12 months behind you. Please keep posting!
Will do! It'll be a bit on hold now over the winter but should be doing more flights in the spring!
aint nobody got a turbine kit for sale?
That looks like an MGL panel, do they support the T62 turbine? Any missing sensor data?

Is that the Czech PBS TS100 engine in that mini-chopper?
Nope, it's a Solar T62-32
@@Aerohead Cool…a GPU, from a much bigger chopper, adapted as a primary turbo shaft.
Is that a centrifugal clutch?
Yep, it is. It engages at around 55% RPM. And then has full lockup pins at like 75%
@@Aerohead The tail boom axis does not seem to align with the tail rotor shaft, is there a splitter in there to divert the angle upwards?

что, хвостовая балка держится на восьми заклепках? серьезно?
Not rivets, bolts. Eight 1/4" AN bolts
Small budy for that power. No bueno

jet? or turbine? 😏
Hah, yes. It's a turbine engine, not a jet, but the model type is still called JetExec.
@@Aerohead 😁 👍 i love copter. 👋
