Proficiency in English, literacy, and knowledge are different entities. Fluency in English language is an advantage of Honble Mrs Smriti Irani but certainly it dosen't define her knowledge and abilities. പ്രസംഗം ഒരു കലയാണ്, she is well blessed nor she developed it by her efforts and exposure in life. Being a contestant in various fashion shows, beauty contests, Miss India contest, she nurtured herself to learn skills in English. This exposure gave she prominence in language skills specifically in other languages than her mother tounge. This cannot co relate with our pupils in Kerala. A good English speaker certainly does not portray any intelligence. However with respect to accept her proficiency in the language.
