    Thanks for posting this video. Changed my brake bulb very easily. One note is that the access panel is molded into the trunk liner but may not be fully cut. I used a razor to carefully cut the top and bottom of the opening. Don’t cut the side towards the front of the car as that remains as a hinge keeping the panel in place. Obviously one only has to cut the panel edges the first time a bulb is replaced. Without this video I would’ve likely tried to remove the whole liner panel rather than cut the edges of the access door. Thanks again.

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  Před 3 lety +2

      Any hardware store or auto parts store should have it. I suggest you take the light assembly with you to match the nuts with the studs. You want to make sure that the nut diameter and thread pitch matches.

    Jash I changed the buld successfully but still light is not on. Is any problem in electrical wires or shall I use WD-40 for cleaning and re install it?

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  Před 4 lety +1

      Is the problem just with this one bulb or both side bulbs? If it's both sides, then I suggest checking the fuse, that could be the problem too. Could you send me a picture of the old bulb that you took out of the car? You can email me the pics at jash@virar.ca

    Hey I replaced my brake light and now it stays on like my foot is on the brake pedal but only on the driver side do you no the reason for this?

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  Před rokem

      One likely solution for this is : Take the bulb out, flip it around 180 degrees (half a turn) and then put it in the bulb holder, push it down, twist it right to lock it in place..

  • @robertrodriguez9792
    @robertrodriguez9792 Před rokem

    The socket wouldn’t come off. I twist it and it doesn’t come out? What should I do?

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  Před rokem

      You mean the socket is stuck on the nut itself? If you are able to get the light out completely, then try tapping the socket with a small hammer. Slight tap and it should fall right off. Don't try to do that while the light is still in the car, cause then it is very likely that the socket will fall off in some cavity inside there and will be hard to find and retrieve.
      Hope this helps.
