terrible design by Hyundai to make it so complicated for a simple/regular repair. Thanks for explaining

@KerryAnnePhysics it's because of the labor. Half hour to change it because of the design, then another half hour to fill out the paperwork for it. I'm not defending it, of course.

This idiot makes it 5 times harder… all you have to do untighten the 2 nuts then pry the light cover off and you can access the lights that way. You don’t need to pull the whole damn thing off. Good job, Yusef!

Only complaint is that you should not be touching the glass bulbs with your bare fingers. Oil from your fingers can cause these lights to get too hot and burn out prematurely. Try to use a paper towel or nitrile/latex gloves to handle the fresh bulbs.

That is critical with halogen bulbs (like the headlights) but not so important with regular incandescent bulbs.

I'm trying to replace the electrical harness that holds the three bulbs, in your video, it shows another socket that you did not touch which is the same as my tail light, what's that for? I have the harness it has only 3 bulb holder, but the tail light has 4 socket wires so I have no idea how to change the harness
