@@1A_B_C1 Simply wrong. Anyone who's cared for an animal would attest to it. One of my dogs literally breaks out in an allergic skin rash a couple times a year. One of my cats nose swells up any time summer rolls around due to fleas and mosquitos. We have to supply them with extra medicinal treatment so they don't itch themselves raw.

The fact that they know how to use it says it all for me!
Cows are actually like big dogs if you take the time to let them know you, they each have personalities, love to play even chasing toys, loves scratches and pets, they enjoy affection and being talked to especially if you have a calm soothing voice, they show empathy and mourn the loss of a member of their herd or a human they bonded with, they will even lay down and put their head in your lap or let you lay on them and take a nap together...please give cows a chance and I think you will see they are awesome!
They are awesome. They provide us with milk and meat. What would we be without them? Personally I think they should be treated the best, then when their end comes only then do we make use of them as food. They truly are a wonderful creature. One that improves our lives in countless ways and we should treat them with kindness and respect. Sadly though, most people just treat them as burdens until they're sent to the grill where the real money is.

Cows are smart, gentle and capable of love and affection. I'm glad she got the chance to have a satisfying scratch. It's hard for me to see the difference between her and a dog. Both are creatures worthy of happiness, cuddles and a long life ❤

If the cows don't want to be used as farm animals, then they better start contributing towards payment of rent. If they cannot pay in any other form than beef and milk, then I suppose that's that. No one is going to keep such a large and costly animal just for cuddles and no benefit.
@@Wrzerq I'm not insinuating that people should keep cows as pets. I hope that was clear. I am simply pointing out that we should stop commodifying these animals and condemning them to be killed after 1.5 years (which is the norm) since we would ethically object to doing that to dogs. Just pointing out the hypocrisy. It's not like cows are just showing up on people's doorstep expecting to be taken care of. They are bred into existence by humans. Humans who absolutely decimated the world's biodiversity with industrial animal agriculture, with livestock such as cows and pigs far outweighing the biomass of wild mammals at this point in history. We now eat 4 times more meat in the developed world than we used to in the 70s. If we just curbed our appetite for meat to a more reasonable level, maybe we could stop breeding these animals into existence, and begin reforesting areas like the Amazon rain forest which are actively being cleared for the express purpose of growing cattle fodder. That might also, help us back away from the irreversible climate tipping point we're about to hit in 5-6 years.

An easy way of making your cow love you. ❤ Our farms close by took it a step further by having an automatic "scratching roll". The cows here are literally waiting in a line for their turn to get their back scratched.
