I gave this video a "unlike" Could the owner of this dog and these gentle animals explain why that dog was/is allowed to bite them on the nose like that ?
I never saw anything but quiet curiosity from those cows towards that dog. Whether it was being directed to get them or acting on its own, that's too damn rough !
That's one more reason you can keep your Heelers and Kelpies, etc. Me and my Australian Shepherd would escort those ladies anywhere they needed to be. Without an unprovoked or unneeded bite.
And as far as the young steer being silly. No reason for the level of aggression from that dog.
This dog should be taken out to herd range stock. They'd teach him some manners.
It's my opinion that dogs should be used as companions and indispensable coworkers by stockman and women, and the right breed chosen for the job.
    Anyway ,that's my two cents.
    Peace.

Armstrongchick . I've sorted my share of cows and calves and finished stock.
When an animal needs encouragement to move, my dogs have always known how much to push them.
I want livestock to respect me and my dogs. I don't want them unnecessarily stressed.
I love being able to call my animals knowing they want to come to me. They also know when they dawdle, the dog's coming after them.
To each their own, huh ?

@@stephenball4292 ... And I gave you a thumbs down because you don't know anything about the option of lassoing the cow and being a real cowboy instead relying on a dog to bite the animal into submission. Clearly the dog thrown into the fence 0:58 is a sign that this shit is not working out. The cows I worked with at 12 had horns and would have torn these dogs to shreds.

quite a few views re biting cows, some cattle are half wild & the sooner a dog sorts out who's boss the easier it is, some real wild bastards need a mad heeler to sort them out

  • @simiwoo.

That dog is disgusting, it's a terrible pig, those cows should kill it. He has to watch that they don't wander off, that someone doesn't steal them, but he can't hurt them, and you can record it on video of him hurting the calf

  • @melindaalvarez9909

Cows can be trained to see alot of cows bein mistreated might want to rethink those videos all animals have rights! ck out farm life videos with Tom P they don't use dogs horses or sticks to move large heard of cows! May need to try something new a mistreated cow taste different that a happy cow for u meat eaters out there!

Melinda Alvarez lmao this is how cows are kept in line otherwise they would run loose these cows have great lives as long as they follow simple rules so stop assuming random things

@@haydenharman5714 not assuming it's all on video! That u are recording especially when comments u make like get that bitch and at times your laughing at the cows when dogs are biting them understand u got to make a living but just could be more humain is my point . If u don't like constructive criticism then don't post the negative parts. Your dogs come so close to getting injured by the cows when they only defend when dogs get too close when they are loading they are moving the cows slowly but still loading they turn around when the dogs get to close to defend their selves but the dogs keep getting closer on your command to push them forward in other videos I guess the loading is being rushed guess due to time limits or whatever. But again the training of dogs is great they are very obedient just think u could control the attacks from both animals better while yur sitting still on the horse recording! Thank u for sharing your service u provide.
