For anyone trying this, its possible to remove the bulb without taking off the wheel, you can just turn your wheel to the side to create more space for yourself when you are reaching down there. (Bending the prongs inside the actual housing of the headlight isn't totally necessary as long as you do a good job bending the prongs on the bulb). I did this on my f30 with the depo headlights and it worked great

I am thinking about changing my front turn signal bulb to LED's. spektrum will be the choice. Do you think there will be any coding involved? Advertisement said no but It's kind of a gamble. I been getting front turn signal malfunctions for both right and left after about 8 months of use. Where can i buy a tool like the one you used to pry up the sides of the gray bulb holder? Ive been using oem bulbs
How about the rear taillight signal malfunction? Changed the taillight from pre Lci to LCI and had this problem
Hey! Enjoyed your video. Have problems with my left rear lamp stop working. I got the malfunction lamp. Check bulbs socket board and move it to the other side everything works fine. Check connectors or burnouts nothing. I did break an led bulb when installed I do remember. After that I started getting issues. Is there a way you can give me pointers. I seRch everywhere no luck. Like I said no burnouts. I don't know if the fem needs to be reset or replace. Is there a way to test it. Don't have money to take it to the dealer. Help!!!🥺
Question ! So I removed the left turn signal light bulb to see what the type was on my 2016 3 series and putting back wouldn’t work, I have the malfunction and can’t get it to turn back on, I already tried your method, what do you suggest I do ?

are you using regular halogen bulbs in the DEPO headlight or did you upgrade to led or hid. I just got DEPO headlights installed but when we try to upgrade to LED bulbs for low beam the retaining clip which comes with the headlights are weird and we cant figure out how to use them with led's. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. BTW these headlights are awsome.

saulius kietas I have the same problem now I had it on my halogens previously so I thought a motor was fried because one side worked occasionally so I bought these headlights as they have new motors in them but I still have the error did you ever fix yours?

Just by some blinker fluid
I had to replace the left turn signal light bulb also, I just turn the wheel all the way to the right and open the access door and then replaced the bulb, no jacking and didn't have to take the wheel off - simple !!
Putting in the oem bulbs fixes this problem

You can just turn the wheel to have more space
put some led bulbs complete the look
