- I've struggled finding GOOD MUSIC for my videos for quite some time. Mostly the background music, but also music for introductions, music for time lapses, save copyright free, royalty free music that I can use for these videos.
Finding the right music is CRUCIAL to setting a mood and tone for your videos. And not having music is just I N S A N E.

Dope. I found that one day an couldn’t find it again. Quick question though if you edit videos in other apps. (Final Cut/ iMovie) do you worry about music there or upload first then add music??
I always upload music into the original editing file vs on YT after. My workflow is pretty fixed at this point lol.
It also has forced me to truly memorize the rules for using copyrighted material vs royalty free.
I will say as long as you keep song clips under 7 seconds, you can get away with it. so if its a blend or beatmatch, you can get away with up to like, 13 seconds. its a very fine line though, and most often I don't go back and worry about it lol.
