    Thank you for taking the time to show all the little things that make a difference. I watched several other videos and still didn't have a clue how to get the e-brake cable hooked in the lever. They seemed to be geared more towards showing that they can do it rather than teaching us how to do it. Thank you again for actually teaching us something.

    I greatly appreciate your video. Out of all the videos on here, yours was the best one. I just finished a rear brake job on my 06 HHR and it was a horrible experience. I don't ever want to go through that ever again. The worst part were the main springs. Took two days to finish. Thank you for all your help!

      @@oscars-autorepair3236 Your welcome:) you made it look so easy in your video but out in a cold wet garage totally different story. It was strenuous and depressing. I had to force myself out there to finish the job. I also had to bleed my brakes. That was the only thing that went well. I drove the car tonight and it is doing much better. I have so much pedal under my foot now. Its like a new car. So happy ending to had day.

    Bruh... this video is the bomb!!! Thanks a shit-ton!!! I found a way to make it a bunch easier because of it too... after the e-brake cable is in... install the W clip in the rear-side shoe and use the upper spring to hold both shoes together as you wrangle the W clip in the front side shoe... then remove the upper spring and continue the install as you've shown... saved me some muscle. 🤜🤛

    • @Jason_Van_Stone
      @Jason_Van_Stone Před 3 lety +1

      So I had an ignorant question...both shoes are supposed to fit perfectly inside the lip, correct? I couldn't see when I took off the older replacement, because as soon as I took out the Hub, the old W spring was snapped in half.
