Quite amazing to see how graceful Stephanie has become over the years. Youthful enthusiasm being replaced with the ease and grace that comes from being better than anyone else. A pleasure to watch. Be cool to see some aerial work. Never too old to learn. Super cool sound track by the way.

I use Stephanie Gilmore in slow motion to get my turn technique down. It is simple to analyze her turns because her motions are fundamentally sound.

I wish I could surf like her! I much prefer watching her smooth style over the herky jerky surfing of some of the pro men.
❤PS- i wonder if i could borrow some of steph stephs roxy boardshorts, and if they would fit me, now having learned that some roxy (the classic high board short 80s style designs, as explained in the film 'girls can't surf', were adopted designs from the mens, tom carroll style, boardshorts that girls started to wear before roxy made them 'for girls'.) i was already totally cool with wearing cool roxy boardshorts, especially if borrowed from cool girls, but i would buy them for myself, but knowing they are styles i was wearing in the 80s, which for men now are impossible to find, instead of absurd super long leg styles (way too long for me, and i like short shorts for mobility and because i am small, and i simply like the aesthetic), nothing is worse than catching your short legs on your knee, or having them rub up and down your leg (thigh especially) every time you bend your knees. lame. like antique knickers. anyway, steph steph, if / when we surf together maybe you could let me peruse your mermaid wardrobe for a couple pairs of 'extras' that you might have :) and then, if anyone wants to give me trouble for being a 'girl' or wearing 'girls' clothes (which is a stupid criticism anyway, especially since they were boys first and why cant they be shared anyway, even if they are 'girls') i could brag to all the boys on the beach that these are steph stephs, as a possible reward for being a good coach / cheerleader / assistant coach to tom, whoever he is. still haven't heard about him or his exact identity yet, but we could have a coach off any time, any place 📣🙂
