'♫ Buy “The Masters of Russian Classical Music” (MP3 album) on the Official Halidon Music Store' - No thanks. Only good quality FLAC or WAV wanted, not MP3. When you can provide those, instead of flat and compressed MP3, I'll be much more interested.
Russian music is among the most beautiful and emotional in the world, it pulls at my heart whenever I listen
it hits your soul like a truck

After centuries under both Good and Evil Tsars, then slavery under the the Communism, WOW
There is something about the Slavic soul, no matter of nation, you feel it in your soul and identify yourself with it when you hear it. I am Polish and I love Russian culture.
im from lithuania, most people here support common people of russia too, just not goverment. Im glad polish and lithuanians noticing how good is russian culture
Even though America and Russia have had a rocky relationship for the past century, I find Russian culture interesting. I'm currently writing a report on the Russian Revolution. The Russian people have been through a lot. Their strength of character and resilience in the face of horrific situations is impressive and admirable.
I'm not Russian but I still like it!
And I am Brazilian.... ahhahahha and find this Russian "thing" sooooooo supreme!!!!! It is from the heights of lights. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro, the land of the Christ, the Redeemer, on top of Corcovado Mountain! They are very christians too, their light is like ours in Brazil, believe me!!!!! Christ crystal light! (and polish too, there are a lot of polish descendants in Brazil).

Russian classical music is just the best.
I'm positively suprised by the amount of french references in those russian masterpieces. I love you Russia ! Salutations de France o/
there were times when for the aristocracy, the french, was the first language to learn. Even before russian. In those times everyone were addicted to french novels. Alexander Pushkin, the most famous russian poet, wrote his very first work on french. So yes France made a lot for our classic and culture
BEAUTIFUL RUSSIAN MUSIC!
Stop talking about politics here. People, this is just a music and you mustn’t talk about this. Just listen that good music.

Russian music is by far the greatest
I love all the Russian composers of that time in music history, they were the real rock stars who suffered through many hardships to get their music played.Of course Tchaikovsky was probably the most popular Russian composer of all time as he did have benefactor/sponsor who had been in love with him but he was not in love with this older lady.

Listen to the gorgeous tones of brass, strings, percussion, etc. in Ravel's orchestral version of Pictures at an Exhibition. Then imagine it as a piano piece, as Mussorgsky wrote it. Ah, but the problem is not Russia. The problem is USA.
Not only for Russia, but for all countries in the world.
The demonic "Manifest Destiny" of the North Americans, who think that God, destined them to arrange the problems of the world.

Modest Mussorgsky is the composer that i appreciate probably the most. Too bad he died in poverty. The world is always so harsh on gentle souls
The continent produced much wonderful music during this period, but personally, I feel that it was the Russian artists who turned silver into gold.
