    Look at the range you're getting and hardly any rssi drop. It would be so easy to fly yourself out of battery. The GPS pointer is invaluable in case you get lost, I didn't realise that park was so big. Excellent tutorial👍 Thank you😀

    Pete, great tutorial. I am a bit naïve, when do pick crossfire? For FPV long distance flights?

    • @RCEscape
      @RCEscape  Před 3 lety

      Thanks bro! It is said to have less latency and more control over distance than the frsky and others and there seems to be a difference. When I first used it, it felt different. The rhythm of stick control and the response of the drone reacting to your input is slightly faster and you can fly the thing forever it seems so it is noticeably better.

    yooo whats good, i ve been watching you since doing your longe range on your holy stone 720e, im wanting to go long range and i dont know where to start. im wanting to go crossfire i think, so my question is do you recommend getting this set up over any other set up? as being the budget route ? what RTF drone thats not too expensive analog you might recommend, im looking at a flywoo or a rekon 5 unless you suggest something else? thanks love your channel. why do you recommend the nano kit over anything else? like do you think if i just got the a micro module i should be good? which module, like in tracer or regular or does that not matter?

    • @RCEscape
      @RCEscape  Před 3 lety

      The nano kit is cost effective since you get three receivers. I've not used the tracer nor any other set up so I can only recommend the nano which works great. Any light quad like the flywoo should be a good choice.

    That's one nice and compact radio. What is your valuable opinion on its gimbals which I understood are still potentiometer based, not Hall effect sensor gimbals. I've seen people replacing the stock ones with Hall effect ones, but is it really worth the effort and money? Are they really that much better?

    • @RCEscape
      @RCEscape  Před 3 lety +1

      I'd just buy another remote. Potentiometer gimbals will last for years before it needs to be changed. Replace it then to halls.

    • @AddictedQuadroner
      @AddictedQuadroner Před 3 lety

      @@RCEscape - sure, fair enough. I was just thinking... since I never got a chance to test Hall effect sensor gimbals, are they much smoother than potentiometer ones? I mean, is it obviously nicer to use those gimbals, or Hall effect is basically just a more durable solution than potentiometer ones, not necessarily smoother experience when moving those sticks?

      "The Crossfire Micro TX borrows the core technology from its larger brother, but is a JR-module transmitter simplified to the most sought-after features, at a killer price! For people looking to do extreme long range flights beyond 15-20km, the Crossfire TX is still the way to go. For anyone looking to penetrate buildings, fly mini quads or just explore your surroundings a few kilometers away, the Micro TX is the perfect companion. It will still go out up to 40km, just like its bigger brother. But it costs less than half the price. "
