Please UPGRADE your towers, it's not cost effective to just add more at some point. Also place cheap towers around house, more than one.
Houses:
"Spawn randomly on the map. At the start of each wave the house will generate gold equal to Number of adjacent towers × Current wave number."

You may want to put some more backup tower very near your main stronghold to stop the fast one get through your middle and fronline towers. Ballista is a good choice as it is cheap. I think you may want to invest more on the ballista.

Always add defenses to the last bit before the tower. Also, the higher a defensive thing sits, the larger its range. Highest I've ever seen is a potential +6. Also, the two most useful defenses in my opinion are the radar towers (those planes have surprisingly huge range to begin with) and the frost towers. Slowed enemies means they get hit more often. You also need to make sure to stay on top of mana production. Most of the defenses use mana to attack, so the more mana you have, the longer they can kill the enemies. Things like the obelisk are mana guzzlers. Without enough mana production, you'll get maybe one or two shots of the obelisk, then be completely tapped.

Oh no ^^why didn't you take the upgrades in the tree to draw cards more often - like every turn... Those are usually the upgrades you want to get :D

You can get more money by surrounding the houses with more blisters on each side

Mortars fire too slowly but do useful armour and aoe damage... so they're mainly advantageous against those wooden stacks but not much else... unless you're upgrading them to have poison, flame and bleed damage (but you'll have to unlock those in the tree)

I was going to say blitz I've gotten all the cards not all the upgrades for all of them but all of them I've also gotten around 41 on single Lane and I must say it is difficult as hell if you want to advise upgrade your Tower give it as much health and other things if you can and then give it as much health and other things if you can
