  • The Everbilt Verticle Float Switch for sump pumps is a easy installation to replace you existing sump pump float. In this video, I show you how to assemble the Everbilt float switch, how I removed my exisiting float switch and how to install the Everbilt verticle float switch back into your sump pump crock. The issue with my existing float was that it has debris buildup from the drains as I live in a high clay area in Ohio. During my installation, I explain why you should consider the location and position of your sump pump float switch replacement to avoid direct contact with your drains.

What would happen if you put that float in a bag to keep it clean.

Why do you need additional float when it is already built in?
