    Hey Johny - This was a golden video for me so thank you! I picked up an M200 to start filming some talking head videos and I was soooo disappointed with the kit lens! Then, I stumbled on this video just today and picked up the adapter within 2 hours from amazon and I actually got the nifty fifty lens and WOW, without changing my lighting or anything it was a miracle change...exactly what I was looking for. My latest video is with the kit lens but from now on, Fifty will be nifty for me. Thanks again!

    Thank you for such a useful video! Do you have the settings you used on your M200 and Cinestyle to achieve the quality of your footage, as well as the blurred background? 😊 Many thanks!

      For the settings I used 2.2 aperture, 200 iso or something less then 400. As for cinestyle settings here it is I uploaded a video showing you everything. czcams.com/video/OA0wEZ-cuRc/video.html .
      For the blurred background all you need is the aperture of the lens to be as higher as possible, anything below 2.5 to 1.8 will do the higher it is the more blurry background you will get. Put the lense between 2.2 and 1.8.

    What settings do you use for video (frame rate, resolution, etc)

    • @JohnyRodrii
      @JohnyRodrii  Před rokem +1

      24 fps, 50 shutter speed, and on this particular camera and video I used 1080p. But with this camera : czcams.com/video/EYSmHnotT68/video.html : I recorded in 1080p same resolution but i upscale the video in the editing software to 4K.

    Just wondering, why did you buy the lens adapter and lens instead of just buying an EF M type lens?
    I think there's sigma ef m lenses available

      No it doesn’t. I was always in the same spot and no moving to much i should say, but no it didn’t. Any lavalier mic should do. I just bought the cheapest one in Amazon, it costed at the time literally 10£.
      Thanks for the sub.

      @@JohnyRodrii Got it. I just Bought a used $66 (normally $200) Adapter off Amazon (Canon Brand) and the 50mm / 1.8 for $90 ( Also Canon) just for compatibility purposes. I plan on getting more Canon lenses down the line. I've been using the Kit Lense this entire time for my YT videos.
