How to Remove & Detach Joy Con Controllers from Nintendo Switch (Fast Tutorial)

Here’s how you can attach and detach the Joy-Con controllers from your Nintendo Switch:
Attaching the Joy-Con to the Console:
Make sure the console screen is facing you.
Align the “-” symbol on the left Joy-Con with the top left corner of the console.
Align the “+” symbol on the Joy-Con with the top right corner of the console.
Attach the Joy-Con to the Nintendo Switch console by sliding it from top to bottom along the rail on the side of the console until you hear a click.
Detaching the Joy-Con from the Console:
Press the release button at the back of the Joy-Con.
While pressing the button, slide the Joy-Con from bottom to top to detach it from the console.
Important: After detaching the Joy-Con controllers, be sure to attach the Joy-Con straps before starting a game or software.
Remember that the Joy-Con controllers can be paired to one console at a time. If you want to use them on another console, you’ll need to pair them to that specific console
