In this workout you will be working for 4 rounds of 45 seconds per exercise. Our goal is to challenge our strength today so be ready to push up into weights up near 70%-85% of your max intensity to make sure you can feel the mind muscle connection as you are pushing through the challenges in this workout. I want you to move your weights at a moderate tempo so 2 seconds on the way down and 2 seconds on the way up. Breathe and work hard so we can kick off an epic day with this workout!
The Exercises:
1. Front squat and press
2. Sumo squat and alternating single arm curl
3. Split Squat
4. Bent row
5. Sissy Squat (heels on DB) and close tricep press
6. Reverse Lunge and Front raise
7. Deadlifts
8. Hammer Curls
9. Sit Ups

Last week was a long week, and it continues this week. My husband suffered a deadly stroke on Aug 6, 2024. My family and I have been at the hospital and planning his final resting place. Our children have taken control over it all, and I couldn't be more proud and grateful. This is the first workout I've done since it happened, and it felt so good to be back. I know more tough days are ahead, but I know we will all get through it because we support each other the way a family should. Don't take people for granted. Live each day to the fullest, and always say I love you no matter the circumstances. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

Balance day (?) crushed!! For the first time in about a week this workout actually felt great, & I felt so strong. I struggle with hypermobility and some days my joints just don’t want to cooperate and it’s tough. Grateful today that they cooperated!

I am getting over the worst respiratory infection of my life. Had to miss a whole week of work outs and was truly scared for today. This was actually the perfect pace for my recovering body and I’m feeling really proud and humbled. So grateful to have my health back.

I noticed that I was having a hard time stabilizing and then remembered that Sydney once recommended looking at something when balancing--and that's the trick! Totally could balance fine afterward. I realized that I was closing my eyes during the workout but that was making me lose balance. Thanks, Sydney!
Never thrown up before 😅. After the heel lifted squats is was a dizzy wobble to the nearest trash can.
Still came back and finished though. Took it much easier.
