I will continue to run it but up front I see no glaring issues. Ultimately I would love to have a few thousand rounds through it at this point but with ammo prices and scarcity it gonna take a while to get there.
Since by force of habit I racked the slide while trying to test restrike here are the weights of 3 pulls did to give you an idea of the restrike weight. 3 pulls 1) 6 bs 8oz 2) 6lbs 4oz 3) 6lbs 10oz

The Taurus G3 is a great tool 2thousand rounds through mine and works wonderful only issue was a soft primer strike the first 10rds and double strike fired the round just fine. People forget that not all great firearms have to have a 500-600$ price ticket. If it was a 12gauge for 199$ or the Taurus series of tools I would always suggest the Taurus depending on what you need it for.
      Great 👍 video brother

You racked the slide to test the restrike. Meaning you were still pulling the trigger in SA and not restrike. That’s why the gauge showed 5lbs

I have a PT111 Millinium and a G3. Many testers of these pistols play down the double strike capability. I agree if a misfire occurs rack the slide and move on. However, I use laser bullets to practice fire at various targets and ranges. I have about 750 rounds of live fire through both of them and have 1500 -2000 practice fires with laser bullets. The restrike capability allows be practice inside my house anytime I have a few minutes to spare. The double strike make this so easy especially with double and triple tap practice and I see where my shots are hitting an actual target. This has greatly improved my accuracy at no cost for ammo.

Once you find a pistol that works for you and know for a fact it runs flawlessly, price isn't the concern. I think Glocks are awesome but in reality, I prefer the Taurus G Series and am incredibly accurate with them. My G3 Toro cost $310, my Trijicon RMR Type 2 cost nearly $500, my metal suppressor height night sights cost $130, my Olight Baldr Pro R cost $180, my holster cost $120. Most people have AR15s that cost less than my pistol, and my AR cost me thousands to build the way I want. But they're both incredibly capable weapons.

    Here's 4 reason to purchase a g3/c over glock:
    1. Better ergonomics
    2. Aftermarket support is growing very fast.
    3. About the same trigger(which shouldn't be the case since glock cost so much more)
    4. Price.

I think it speaks well for all gun manufacturers that I have only had a problem with one gun when it was new. And very few other problems over the years. Those were just age and use like the loading gate spring on a very old Marlin lever that after 40 years or so just lost it's spring. The problem with my new gun was an Auto Ordinance 1911 that had a bent recoil spring.

I currently have the G2C as my EDC. I've replaced the trigger shoe, striker guide, recoil spring and am currently looking for night sights. I've put 300 rounds thru it since buying it brand new on 10/23/20 for $198.99 plus tax. Not one issue thus far. Last Thanksgiving I purchased the G3 for $211.99 plus tax. I loved it but gave it to my ex girlfriend as a housewarming gift in February. She wanted my Glock 19 but that was a definite no. Considering all that transpired in the past year, I'm glad I gave her the G3 so that she has some protection, just in case. If I can find a new G3 for $250 or less, I'll buy another one ASAP. That was the best illustration and explanation of the G series trigger functions that I've seen thus far. Happy New Year.

I've had the G3C for awhile now.
I always clean & lubricate any new firearm straight away.
On the Taurus pistols, I also polush the feed ramps because sometimes, they don't want to feed hollow points. But after a good feed ramp polish they will.
I just picked up the larger G3 and have done the routine.
The new G3 now has the slide cut to take aftermarket Glock sights & I will likely put night sights on it.
They're a good firearm if they are properly setup & maintained.
The slide finish will wear substantially over the course of time however.
    That's my experience.
    Good video & fair review.

I've had a terrible experience with my G3C. It's a functionally reliable (no failure to feed or extract / eject), yet not dependable gun (terrible shooting gun with no accuracy / consistency in the groupings even at 5 yards). Sent it back to Taurus and instead of replacing the barrel they adjusted the trigger bar. What a bad joke. I wish my G3C would've been as good as my TX22, which shoots accurately at 20 yards no problem, even with bulk ammo. I ended up buying a G43X MOS and it shoots just as good as the TX22 every time.
Thanks for the video upload, I'm glad your G3 shoots well.

The Taurus is not the same as those guns and isn't meant to be but it gets the job done and they are reliable. Another great review brother!

Great budget gun with big gun reliability. & I hate to say it. But I am a “Glock guy”. & I shoot the g3 more than my gen 2 17. There is no red dot under the manual safety, and the dots on the rear site have been replaced with unpainted dimples (front site is still a white dot). Also the rear site is more basic - no set screw, and it fits in a dovetail groove which can be left-right adjusted with a tool.

Taurus is a very underrated because there past I have the G2c now I upgraded to a SA keep tinkering trigger, a Galloway guide rod, stainless fireing pin guide, also added a tighter trigger spring with a complete polishing to the inside of the gun. I would put it against most glocks I’ve fired after the up grades with that said the gun worked great before any up grade the gun with all the add ons has a trigger I’d put up against any glock or other pistols that are under 700-800 dollers polish the barrel it will look chrome plated and wear way better I just ordered the G3 and G3c and keep tinkering triggers take away about 65% of the trigger movement and eliminate all play you feel in the factory triggers and has no saftey in it any more keep tinkering also makes SA/DA SO YOU can maintain factory operation but the SA is way better in my opinion also get used to the trigger if you do get the SA KEEP TINKERING LEARN IT BEFORE MESSING AROUND IN THE HOUSE DIDNT REALIZE IT WOULD SHOOT WITH MAG OUT AND WITH NO PLAY IN THE TRIGGER I SHOT A ROUND IN THE HOUSE WITH THAT SAID I WAS RACKING THE SLIDE IT HAD A 18 lbs guide rod which doesn’t sound like much over the 16 pound but it slipped on t my and and somehow the inertia forced the trigger to my finger which shouldn’t hav been in the trigger gaurd and it wouldn’t have happened but these guns eat all ammo and are amazing!

Polish the feed ramp to improve reliability and then grease and oil it up and haven’t had a problem with a single one. Reliable and cheap, I keep it on my nightstand.
