I think yall are only missing a 6in bull shad, hudd 68, 8in Huddleston, a Gan craft 178 and 230, K9/TKand a bull wake. Those are PROVEN big fish catchers. They have gotten fish up to 18lbs and 100s of fish over 10lbs

That 6th sense one is the flow glider. Milliken does a couple of videos to mod that joint. Dremel’s the front of the joint down just a touch to where you almost get 45 deg of bend. Caught my first swim bait fish on that mod. Grind carefully or you’ll end up with a faster sink. Ask me how I know.

  • @BrownBaitCo

Less movement in a joint means a shorter chopper glide. Less movement in the joint means a longer glide, better for calling fish in and getting bigger fish.

I finally threw my first large swimbait yesterday, no luck but I'm still learning. I threw the 6th sense Trace and a Debo custom. They swim real nice, but I have to figure out the ideal retrieve... I also need to find some structure to throw over, the lake I went to, East of where I'm at, was gas-lighting me into thinking there was structure [see what I did there lol]. I know the fishing is good on this lake, but it was my first time on it, so I still have to learn the layout.

The dual hardcore ninja swimmer is a good one u just got modify them to get a better action and perform a little better. Id say the best bait to use is the one that works for ya there is a few good ones out there that are known fish catchers like DRT k9 and Tiny Klash get the original ones not the KO's , Raid GI impact, FOM glide 6, Mike bucca bull herring, Toxic bait wakeNcrank and a Gancraft 178. Those are just a few I would recommend to try and try to fish consistently just bring them out with u every time u go fishing and just chuck them first. Before using ur others baits if u don't get any bites with in 15 or 20 minutes in that spot switch back to some conventional and repeat but. Sometimes u can attract larger fish to that spot that might have been interested in that big bait and didn't commit. Now u smack em with the smaller stuff or sometimes u will catch em it cant hurt to try tho.

Just a quick note on hooks. People like Butch brown and Mike Gilbert use lighter wire and smaller hooks like on a hinkle trout a size 1 when everyone else would use a 2/0 or 3/0. I would like to give yall a call sometime on Instagram or on the phone to give you guys a few pointers that would make a big difference. Cheers my friends

tip for the Baby Bull Gill - run it as fast as possible in shallow areas right beside cover. I've been fishing it for about two months without anything to show for it. This weekend I was burning it super shallow like a foot from the bank along a weed line and landed a 5 pounder. Damn thing grabbed the baby gill and wrenched it away from me. One of the hardest fights I've ever had, not even the biggest fish. I also replaced the trebles with inline singles (but I do this on most hard baits), and she was NOT getting away. Somehow managed to almost inhale the thing and caught both hooks.

You should check out the Working Class Zero Citizen 7. There's also the Citizen 6. Look at the list of retailers on the Working Class Zero site if they're sold out. 3:16 Rising Sun is easy to get and there's a bunch of colors. Real Prey makes some good stuff. Yunique is another one. One more I'll mention, but haven't tried is CHR swimbaits

@@aaanglers For reels that’s not much variation between us and jdm verison if both are available in their respective market. But there is some harder to get reels over there. Like the alphas air TW is something you can’t really find in a store here. But the major difference is price point for most reels. With a zillion in the us costing 400 and a jdm one on digitka costing 227. So if your looking for a reel from either Diawa or shimano. Or majority of reels. Your better off getting it from Japan most times if you don’t mind waiting as exchange rates are just in our favor right now.
Rods depending on you want they can get pretty wild and good out there. But you’ll need to know what your looking for. The megabass line of rods over there can vary quite a bit. With a lot of rods over here being mostly 1 piece. Over there you can find 2 even 4 piece megabass rods. That are not only great in quality also fish amazing.
They also have a great bfs rod selection over there as well. I picked a major craft finetail glass rod for trout. And I’ve just been using it for bass and panfish in the mean time. And it is an amazing rod to fish with. And with it costing only 120 it hits way above its price point. I would recommend for someone wanting a little bfs rod for creeks and streams.
Baits over there can be hit or miss. As something’s can look really good but not preform as well. A little minnow I can recommend is the megabass pinkee it was made for trout. But I’ve caught bass, bluegill, and even crappie on it so far so I’d say it’s a great lure. You can also buy jackhammers over there for cheaper as well just because everything that we buy over there will almost always be cheaper than here. A soft plastic I can recommend is the deps spiny craw. I was using it with a free rig near the start of the month and I was just crushing it. Some hooks you could even try would be like ryugi if you want to try out some terminal.
If you never bought stuff from Japan I’d recommend, Japan lure shop, jdm tackleheaven and digitka. There are some others ones that are trust worthy but I recommend those guys.
I hope you guys check out some of the stuff from over there the baits and rods can get pretty amazing and fun to use.
