Semi Automatic Cat Litter Box Review (Indiegogo Project: Woof 'N Meow)

- Full disclosure: Not a sponsored nor paid post. I wasn't paid for the product review, the product sample was provided to me for review by Woof 'N Meow. I've always had my doubts about both automatic and semi-automatic litter boxes and thought this would be a great opportunity to try one out for both myself and the meows. I'll be reviewing more litter and litter boxes soon in the upcoming months so stay tuned!
I just unpacked this new litter box and was just learning how to use it, once it's locked it doesn't spin around uncontrolled. (where you saw one of my cats having an opposite moment when one of my cats was trying to get inside upon unboxing) The only bruising was of the cat-ego. The cat is a-ok!
Regarding follow-up support with the company, they ranged from slow to nonexistent. The shipment was missing the top cap, and emails were sent out to notify them, but the email finally got a response when I suggested continuing with the review without the cap.
I also had some questions about product usage-related questions, but they are still unanswered to the date of this video (well over a month), kind of hoping they would get back to me so I can know more details on how they optimize the experience for the user.

So it defeats it's own purpose and takes more time and effort. Was looking into one of these for my five cats. Glad I didn't waste my money. Thanks for reviewing!
actually they are excellent if you get the fully automatic non spin type.

I still have my reserves with the automatic one as the mechanism for this spinning motion spreads little dust n particles around... but that said gotta try it first...

Yeah but really so far most of the people I know who's used the auto ones, they went back to traditional scooping too

Could you put pan spray on the wall to prev not sticking?
I can't think of what works but isn't bad for the cats.... Actually this happens to all litter boxes, just its more of a problem when the inside is completely round...
Hi! Thanks for your review ❤️ I just got mine and I wonder, how do you stop it from rolling? Does the litter act as counterweight or is there a lock function? The instructions manual isn't helpful at all. Thanks again!
What did you think about the box on general?
In the video, before she cleaned it the first time, she unlocked it using a lock on what looked like the back or maybe the side of it.
This design can be easily remedied. 1st, they should teflon the interior. 2nd, a handle or foot pedal to rotate the globe. But........the cost might go up exponentially

Tofu litter!!
@@MeloCat I have an Omega Paws Roll & Clean litter box. I would not use the type of litter you are using with this box. I think it would work better with a finer clay-type clumping litter. Also, I would use a liner in the waste tray. Save you washing it every time you empty it.
