The Phoenix Mikimoto Crown, (Kanji: 御木本不死鳥王冠) also informally known as the Mikimoto Crown, is a pageant crown worn by Miss Universe titleholders. The Mikimoto crown is made of both yellow and white gold, measuring from three to eighteen millimetres. It has a traditional Asian design based on the seven auspicious feathers of a Fenghuang phoenix using a mandorla flame design derived from traditional Japanese Buddhist iconography. The crown is decorated with diamonds totalling to 18 carats, with 120 naturally white pearlsobtained in Japan, both South Sea and Akoya, giving a grand total weight of 29.7 carats. Due to its delicate nature, a security detail was attached to the crown wherever it traveled and insured for US$250,000 against the risk of loss or damage. - Jak na to + styl

Austin have you ever thought of learning jewelry soldering? This would alleviate your crown & jewelry reproductions or original works so much more. Maybe a collab with a CZcams Jeweler? You could design & configure a piece for them on their channel & they can teach you jewelry soldering. I hope this inspires you & also inspires a jeweler subscriber channel to contact you for making the collab. Austin you're extremely talented & I think learning this jewelry making technique would make you even more unique on the CZcams platform IMHO.

I would love to see you make the Danish Midnight tiara. Crown Princess Mary wears it from time to time. The original designer of the tiara is the famous royal jeweler Ole Lyngaard. The tiara is made up of metal leafs in different colors and cabochon agate and Calcedony gem beads as well as round pave diamond beads looking like buds on branches . It’s stunning and if anyone can pull it of to make a replica of it , I think it would be you . I love your talent and skills ❤️😘
