Well too bad i got a team that got ray(bs me stealing it) just to still lose bc they didn t score instead they went to the next goal zones without breaking and lose all of their shields
@@jonathansanchezberaldo3010 happened to me today. That might be even worse than my team t try ing to KO tanks for 30 seconds at ray out just to get their shields broken as well when the enemy respawned. Some people don’t have awareness and game sense. Probably someone only had a few points so goal wasn’t broke so teammates were stuck lol

Most pokemon moves are not stopped by walls unless they're just too short I believe. I think ice fang mamo would be able to do that, too, although even then both of the pokemon need to be realllly close to the wall so it almost never happens.
@MusicComet that’s cool cause whenever I play Buzz, walls become my biggest enemy.

I think this is what rank should be like for every rank!! Draft should be entirely for ranked though certain lvl players shouldn't not be able to play rank until a certain lvl or pokemon experience. Because without draft for every rank, ranked mode is no different then playing standard!!!!!!

tbh the ban timing is too short for the first player. Unlike others having full 15 seconds, the first player gets 10 seconds due to animation eating up time

Draft is available if everyone in the lobby is rank master 1400 and up
all of your teamates need to be 1400 for it to happen i think

Do you ever read the news or director letters? They always talk about features like this. Draft has actually been here for a while now, just that it was locked behind standards and is now finally somewhat integrated into ranked.

This match is like any other match. I see no difference in gameplay other than banning some mons
It'll be a while before ppl get there. And supposed to bring a higher level of play, I mean unite wil never be LoL status. Also, there won't be two of the same Pokemon on the field

Draft is when before the match each team decides to ban certain pokemon they don't want to deal with. It helps to balance things when there's broken pokemon running rampant.

@@Infinitytime-ts4nl Draft is always a crucial part of ranked matches in a lot of MOBAs that improves co-ordinated play so Unite was a big outlier. A lot of people complained that ranked is too casual for a competitive mode because of a lack of draft along with a few other factors and the developers decided to slowly integrate draft in ranked. This just means that there'll be less fooling around and it's going to be more competitive if everything goes right.
I hope that helps! Hopefully standard matches will be filled with people to play with again once draft is fully integrated into ranked so more casual players will still have a place to go to.

@@Infinitytime-ts4nl Every match member needs to be at least 1400+ master rank, it sounds easier than it actually is so you're likely to not have a single match even into 1600+ master rank.

Draft mode is literally the skill floor when playing ranked
Banning 10 pokemon is a tad bit too much considering the size of the current roster I think. People would have to ban literally anything useless just to progress to the selection screen, which isn't vwry helpful or needed. Plus, as seen in the video, the non-voting people can still suggest bans so it's not all that bad.

I just feel like having 10 bans in total when we're barely past 50 pokemon is a bit harsh (there's 62 licenses as of right now if we count mewtwos as one license and not two). Of course that could just be me. TiMi is definitely being unnecessarily careful about draft for now.

I’m just used to regular MOBAs with lanes, towers, minions and role queue. I think that’s the biggest thing they’re missing is role queue, but most roles can be played anywhere so I’m not too sure about that .
Like Ninetails can be an ADC technically with one move set but also a mid lane mage, maybe even CC support with the other move set. So idk how role queue would work here right now.
So it's like always, but it takes 5 minutes to pick pokémons that are not even the ones displayed, very usefull. Imagine when people go afk at the start of the match, after you waited for 5 minutes, because they didn't get what they want. Normally is frustrating, imagine in draft
AFKs are a different issue, which Unite has to resolve by giving out harsher punishments. I don't think you should discredit draft entirely just because of that. Draft is an essential tool for serious play (which ranked should have always been).
I don't discredit draft entirely because of AFKs. But I think that competitive draft (in solo) doesn't work in LoL so why should do it here? Bad players, trolls, carried lucky players, are everywhere, I just don't elevate that much a mechanic that let that bad players to chose how the game have to go, because they can ban Charizard for lulz (like Inder did), but maybe you are really good at Charizard and could help your team, instead you have to pick the oth- no wait it was taken by an enemy. Let's say that you are lucky enough that you get to use your third specific class main (you can go play slot machine if you have all that luck), but maybe it's not what the team needs, so what to do? Use a not so good performance pokémon or a troll pick because you where unlucky enough to be the last to pick? It's more random than what people makes it appear. And it also leads to meta more specific that before, it's like the first must pick this, the second that, so the third and fourth those, and so on, so we won't see a mewtwo meta, but a 2 full team meta with always the same pokémons. Mirror matches in pokémon Unite never existed: emblems, movesets, items makes always different the way to play. So draft is just to make it seems serious, when it's remains always casual as this game wanted to be. To be serious must be in a 5v5 full team. But solo q is still the fair of the random
@@silver_j_night8563 Just because a game started out casually doesn't mean it can't try being more competitive. The main reason why ranked is so trash is because of... a LOT of things, but in general it's just the audience and the lack of confirmation from the game that "this isn't how you're supposed to do that". Solo-Q is just the way you can play ranked so idk if stripping draft away from potential 5-stacks is a good idea.
And the main issue you're describing (which is not being able to use one of your mains) is mostly an issue that casual people have from what I have seen. If you're heavily into solo-q competitively, you are more than likely the one who fills in the role, so you're not at at a disadvanatage when 3 or more pokemon are taken out of your possible choices.
Like idk, I consider myself fairly competitive and I simply don't want to get too chained by the game by having a group to 5-stack constantly to be considered "actually competitive" with so I simply opt for solo-q (I really just need stars to align to play with other people consistently so there's also that).
It could just be me, but I don't find draft to be a bad idea, especially if they're integrating it as slowly as they are. I mostlu see casual players be mad about draft in ranked.
