If Ange wants him, I'm all for it. There's a culture question that we won't be able to grasp that Ange factors in.

If Toney really does have personality issues, I can't see him passing the Ange test. Purely from a playing point of view, yes, he might make sense, but if Ange thinks he would disrupt the dressing room in any way, it's a non starter. Personally, I'd rather we looked elsewhere.
We are still nowhere near done with the "painful rebuild". I am not nearly as impressed with Toney the player as I am put off by Toney the person in interviews. My hope is that we focus on clearing the deck of already discontented or underperforming players (Hojbjerg, Reguilon, Gil, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Rodon, Tanganga, Skipp, Parrott, Sessegnon and Spence come to mind) so that next season can be about building a squad to play this brand of football.
If Ange wants someone in, be it Toney or Gudmundsson, I hope we get him the players he identifies. But the first priority has to be a clear out
Ange will get sacked after Sunday. Arsenal are going to thrash Spurs. Ange still thinks he’s managing in the Scottish league and is destined to be fired. He’s useless and the fans will finally see this when they get humiliated by Arsenal.

social media is a bit of a cesspit (for every club) and not reflective of the fanbase IMO
I find it hilarious that Liverpool, Bayern etc. are floundering around for managers like Spurs did when they ended up with Nuno Espírito Santo. Finding an appropriate manager is no easy task. I think we were lucky to get Ange. Finding strikers is the same! Worry about Toney’s attitude is real. Spurs have a special thing going on right now which would be hard to rebuild.

West Ham apparently held talks with Sporting manager, Amorin. Apparently Liverpool don't want him. If he goes to West Ham they could be okay in a year or two. Maybe Liverpool drop off a bit but it's going to be an even more competitive league next year. That's why I don't think it's a disaster to not get CL. With the current squad there'd be no opportunity to rotate and Spurs would probably go out at the group stage and it might affect the league form as well.
If Ange thinks he'll have the right attitude for sure, otherwise no. How good he is won't factor in for Ange if he doesn't like the attitude.
Can always fork out for the other number 9 feller, Harry Crane or something like that.
Completely agree with your opening remarks about fanbase tensions. It makes me VERY picky about which Spurs fans I listen to because with 50+ years with THFC I know how the Club can lift me and how much it can let me down. I don't need the hysterics of kids or nasty depressed men or women adding to my mix! 😆🤣 All I know is COYS! 👍
Me and you can remember some cup wins but the league was two years before I was born! We can also remember relegation in the 70s and the days of Gary Doherty playing CB one week and CF the next 😮😂 Some people need to relax, we are doing a little better than ok and I didn't expect anything more from this season.
Agree with you 100% on the divided fan base, there is not always a right or a wrong way to look at it and we need to respect each others views instead of rubbishing someone who differs. Btw, I like Toney and dream of him playing for us.

We need an Ivan Toney. He has got all the attributes we need as an additional striker. He is always a threat and will create that space for his teammates because he cannot be ignored.
Also from your previous stream, I like the idea of the Uruguayan from PSG. The players from Uruguay have that fighting spirit that we need. Plus with Bentancur already there would be a good understanding straight away. COYS.

Completely agree people are getting their excuses in early in case we don't get a result in the NLD, and ramping up the Ange criticism and the Levy out stuff. I want a chairman who is more about winning trophies, but they've been going bonkers because of things like bullshit articles linking us to Martial etc
Palhinha, Nico or Mikel and a world class striker would be a good start this summer. Versatility I know seems to be the buzz thing but give me an old skool number 9 or 6 or 11 etc lol Timo, Biss, Richie, Bentancur etc on the bench., This summer again we have a number of players that need to be moved on so lets see if this rumoured amazing 150 million kitty will be provided or not lol Praying to all the Gods for a Spurs victory but Arsenal look hungry. If we are selling Richie, I would go for a big physical number nine to be a threat in the box. We got many players who can deliver the ball in the box. Just need a big striker to put the ball in the net.

I would love to see Ivan Toney in a Tottenham shirt it would be a fantastic replacement for Harry Kane as we desperately need a striker.
I said this before. Ivan Tony is the closest to a Kane and in Ange's system will bag goals for fun. As you say the personality is what worries me. I think Ange will already be thinking the same and if he can work with that type of player? Otherwise for me I would take him and think he would be a great signing.

A proven striker is essential if we are to be better next season. We are dominating possession in matches - 75% against newcastle for example - but we arent doing enough with that possession.
I think Timo will be a future star. He's got the skills and the speed. The skills just need some tuning.
As a neutral, I think Toney wld be a great fit for how you play. Yes he has attitude which I think is all about having personality on the pitch and he will be a leader in games too. btw Maddison has an attitude, as do a few other players on the team.
Per getting over the cold highly recommend taking a cocktail of Vit D, K, C, and Zinc - these cover different areas and support and boost your immune system.
Re NLD not gonna lie this game really stresses me.

Timo W Keep,his attitude,work rate is spot on,he gets the crosses in on a regular basis Ange and the team can work on his finishing so he's ready for next season.
Tapsoba .No thanks great player but he's not a DM and we absolutely must get a quality number 6 and a number 9.
Giovanni Lo C . Decent player but we need to bring players in so let him go .

With werner and Johnson starting to fire balls across the box from deep I think toney would be snapping up tap ins for fun he definitely suits ange ball it's just he's personality that is questionable
If we could get Toni ans a decent no 6, that would be good, wouldn't mind Timo in that situation as will have Son and Solomon on the wing as well.

I think Werner has a place on our squad and a valuable squad player for few years
We have very little upper body strength collectively and recently we've been outmuscled and outtackled. We can outpass teams and use our pace but only for twenty minute periods.
Tosin won't like to be backup CB for us without CL football. Kelly is a bit injury-prone and average player as CB and LB. Ben Godfrey is decent choice for a backup defender. His pace and acceleration make him a good player in our system. Recently the left footed player I like is NF's Murillo. He can be a better LB than Udogie because he doesn't rely on attack runs. He can be more defensive and use his passing range and shooting outside the box. He can cover two positions: LB and CB.
so many of our links are very uninspiring to be honest smacks of no or little ambition

Gudmonson 👍👍 lovely player. Very tidy very agile very quick. Mid 20s so he will likely be mature and ready to come in and impact asap. No back story with this boy
For £40m then maybe.. I’d love to give Scarlett a go for a number of games next year as well.. he needs a chance
I find it hard to believe that Ange would be happy with Toney. Character and attitude.
I have been Ange out before he was in due to the fact I am also a Celtic fan and I watched every game under his time there where he never adjusted tactics which was ok v St Mirren and Dundee but disastrous v European teams and if you think our fanbase is toxic now just wait and see how bad it gets if Woolwich pump us :(

I found more likes than dislikes about Werner. Dislikes: wasting chances, less effective playing ST or RW, high wage. Likes: already in the team, less learning curve than a newcomer, LW spot is open with Solomon injuried, low transfer fee, he has the talent, work rate, pace, and technique otherwise he wouldn't be Leipzig's record goalscorer, bring a lot of big game experiences to this young team.
In 2020 tottenham wanted him for a kane back up but for some reason brentford got him for peanuts ( £5 mill ) we seem to have this scouting mentality where we get robbed blind for players like n,dombele & gill but wont take a chance on lower league potential for a few million ! just look at bowen who we scouted for quite a long time ?
Anyway i have no doubt he will score goals for us but he is 28 and £60mill is too much ! probably a swap deal involving reguilon could happen ? £30 mill plus reguilon is about right but looks like brentford want big money and i wouldnt blame levy for looking elsewhere ! Personally the trick is to buy them ahead of the likes of brentford & other small prem clubs get their hands on them because once they do and they prove themselves the price rockets.

This guy has lost the plot. One of the best teams in Europe and premier league? Arsenal are going to thrash Spurs on Sunday. The Spurs players have no bottle or belief. They have already lost this game before a ball has been kicked. If Ange has any sense he would just forfeit this game because it’s just going to be a bloodbath for Spurs. Genuinely won’t be surprised if Arsenal win 6 or 7-0. Ange has ripped the soul and belief out of this team and turned it into a mediocre side from the Scottish league. It could be Ange’s last game in charge this Sunday as I doubt Ange’s job will be tenable after Sunday.
